Pluck a club from your hat day?

I read that if you guys lose the likes of Fabregas, Nazri or any of the young blokes you have brought through you academy that you'll need to replace them with other home grown products like Parker ect

Doesn't give you much room to move if its true.

Bayern weren't paying more than €15m so Real pay double hahahaha!! Atleast Barca will get value with Sanchez

Prices at the moment are ridiculous. Even Sanchez - he is good but not €40m good.

Then again, Real Madrid did pay €30m for that spastic Pepe.

LOL @ Real Madrid. They're like some sort of huge vacuum that tries to buy every player on the market so no-one else can have them. It's an interesting policy...and it's bought them one Champions League semi final spot in the last 8 or so years.

Good value! Clowns.

Speaking of a crazy market, Aston Villa have turned down a 15 million pound bid for Stewart Downing-syndrome because they're holding out for 20 million.

Ridiculous! But Liverpool bring it upon themselves for paying 20 million quid for Jordan Henderson.

That was one of the (limited) benefits of Clichy. He'd been at the club since he was sixteen and qualified as HG. Mind you, Gibbs and Traore do as well.

The majority of the Arsenal midfield would quality as HG - Fabregas, Ramsey, Wilshere, Walcott, Song and Denilson have all spend at least three years at the club between the ages of 15-21. Not forgetting guys in the reserves like Lansbury, Frimpong and Eastmond either.

If Liverpool's 20m Downing transfer occurs, Liverpool have spent 70m pounds on Carroll, Henderson and Downing.

Wow.

Suddenly I'm not so pessimistic about Arsenal's off-season.

It's overpriced but jeez if Coentrao and Pepe are worth €30m then it's fair.

Go ahead and laugh.....I'm actually genuinely embarrassed.

I really hope we get someone like Mata instead of Downing.
No more over priced English players please.

Deal for Charlie Adam should be wrapped up soon for 8-10 mil.

Liverpool Football Club today announced they have reached agreement with Blackpool for the transfer of Charlie Adam.

The player will now travel to Merseyside for a medical and to discuss personal terms.

Mata > Arsenal is more likely than liverpool

for half
Ricky is a pretty good left footed winger, but he can play anywhere in the midfield other than DM

* Great Dribbler (Beats his man with ease, when he wants too)
* Great eye for a pass
* Good pace

But he is very injury prone, to compare to another player hes a bit like Arshavin/nani
when he wants he can destroy teams but hard work is certainly not one of his favorite things and tends to go missing all to often. Hope it helps

Downing to Liverpool for £20 million.
I'm starting to wonder if Dalglish knows what he is doing...35 for carrol, 20 henderson, 20 downing......I'll give him benefit of the doubt for now
Really think Mata would have been a much better buy than downing.
