Well Aguero is better than any of their other forwards bar Tevez, if Mancini still plays defensively I will throw up, Aguero is much better served at a club that doesn't have a one-prong attack.

In a 4-2-3-1 setup, better than Dzeko? I haven't watched a lot of La Liga so I'm basing my assumptions on highlight reels.

City would have survived, nay improved without Tevez. Dzeko, Balotelli or Adebawh*re could have, and in all reality should be stepping up.

anyone know where these players areplaying this year
Lucas Neil
David Caney
Harry Kewell

With the difference in tax between Spain and England, it's suggested he'll be earning net less than he was at Atletico.

Face it — players want to come to City these days for football reasons, not just a paycheck.

And as for our ten strikers: name them. I'll start you off: Sergio Aguero...

so the €200K a week had nothing to do with it ?

dont kid yourself

no one else in Engalnd pays those sort of wages except Citeh

those greedy bastards are there for the money as their egos wont let them play as a team, they play as individuals, on paper Citeh should have finished higher than third

Actually I'd reckon Agueros 200k would be after tax, like they did with Tevez which would put him near Cristiano Ronaldo's and Lionel Messi's wages as I believe they are around 270k before tax, not sure on Spanish tax rates.

That's what I'm talking about; Citeh play a lone striker, which is ridiculous given the amount of forwards they have. Complete waste of everyone's time, they are a one-pronged attack. Assuming Tevez leaves, I'd want Dzeko and Aguero up front, or Aguero and Balotelli.

City still have a poo defense and may struggle for cohesion given they have too many chiefs up front.

Actually their defence is their best quality, it's pretty much the only good thing about the team. With the amount of forwards they have, and the roster they have, why they play the way they do is laughable. I hope that someone at Citeh realizes how stupid they look and sells a few of them.

:lol: You really believe players go to Citeh for football reasons and not just a paycheck? :lol: And by the way;
1. Sergio Aguero
2. Carlos Tevez
3. Mario Balotelli
4. Edin Dzeko
5. Jo
6. Emmanuel Adebayor

And don't they have a few others too?
You guys are worse than Real, at least Real buys players in positions that need improvement, Citeh just buys every striker under the sun.

Aguero is nice but he has the heart of a pea and goes MIA a lot.

The Citeh FFP fire sale will be great, maybe we can get Dzeko after all.

Real can take Adebayor and Tevez. Too bad none of them would be cheap enough to go to Spurs.

LOL

One of the most laughable things I've ever read. Madrid for a long time were the worst offenders in buying players they didn't need, the one position they need to strengthen is up front, according to the Special One, and they haven't brought anybody in yet. They had 4 or 5 players capable of playing central midfield so they went out and bought Nuri Sahin lol
