What is wrong with RL supporters? We had matty johns trying his heart out to make another league show on a channel that doesn't show league but you all bag it?
Isn't that what we want? More exposure, more rugby league on channels that don't even have the rights?
Everyone talks and talks about more exposure for our great game and ch 7 takes a punt on RL and Matty johns but then everyone bags the show.
We only have ourselves to Blame

I watched a couple of shows & that was enough. It seemed to be a mixture of rugby league & variety, with Channel 7 attempting to keep the viewers from Home & Away as well as trying to lure rugby league fans. The "comedy" sketches were forced & in my opinion not funny at all.

If it was still on this year, it was the type of show I might record & then fast forward through the junk to watch the occasional pieces of actual rugby league content.

Rugby League fans want footy shows, not variety and light entertainment with footy players acting stupid and comedy that is not in the least bit funny. It's not that hard to understand really.

CHANNEL Ten's new One HD station continues its strong push into rugby league. A new weekly program called The Game Plan will kick-off this Thursday at 8.30pm featuring the 2GB Continuous Call team of Andrew Moore, Steve `Blocker' Roach and sideline eye Joel Caine. The Daily Telegraph's Dean `Bulldog' Ritchie will join the panel each week for a Controversy Corner-style segment called Front Row Forum. Meanwhile, Fox Sports have cut their NRL Tactics show, which was hosted by Andy Raymond

Spot on. Give me the Sunday Footy show over the Thurs nite anytime. Even the roast for abit of humour. I liked the league section in Thurs nite live so a bit of luck these shows are good

Most journalists read forums then publish articles and say "according to inside sources".

Apparently we don't.

The AFL shows on Fox consistently out-rate the NRL equivalent despite the huge disparity between AFL and NRL subscribers.

Going by ratings seems the majority don't give a flying f**k either way and to be honest don't live and breathe the game like the majority of AFL or say EPL fans do.

lol

guaranteed they lurk these boards all day

No doubt you've all noticed the One HD ads on this website too, hence the Front Row Forum name.... hopefully they don't just rehash discussions from here & claim them as their thoughts & ideas. As mentioned elsewhere on this forum, the papers seem to latch onto threads / rumours raised here, run a story & then add a line "insiders have said... "

The Game Plan looks good so far.

Joel Caine goes very well. Definitely a future RL show host of chief footy caller.

Alright so far...........better than the Matty Johns show for sure. Good to see they are going to have segments like 'Where are they now' mixed in with the discussion.
