lol same. last exam tomorrow. finish at 5

except.. so screwed in terms of getting a good grade and unsure if i will pass

my last 3 subjects have had me cramming with great success the days prior. Ended up studying 6 hours total for one of my courses.

No luck tomorrow though. Should've known better to cram a mathematics related course in one go

i got ass raped. estimated that i got anywhere from 35-50/95

there was 30 marks which i no joke did not/couldnt even attempt. was a farce. so much stuff i studied for wasnt even in it. yet 2 miniscle topics were worth 10 marks each.

hoping i get scaled up to the max otherwise i might even try my hand at writing a cliffhanger-esque email complaint

Make an appointment and go in with a couple of student. But make sure they're the ones that have been performing well in the subject.

lol I think I'm going to get 50 - 55 in two of my courses, it's going to be a close call. The irony being that they were both Statistics courses and last year I got an award for coming 1st across both 2nd year Statistics courses. My lecturers for this semester's courses both knew I got that award so I genuinely feel embarrassed at the thought of them reading and marking my exam. Hopefully I don't have to see them... ever... again.

which approach is better do you reckon:

'i dont think my mark is a true indication and reflection of my knowledge for the content in the subject. I studied for weeks on topics which werent in the exam and 2 of the questions were never explained well in the lecture'

or 'i suffered from a heart condition in the leadup to the exam which affected my study workload and during the exam i was again quite sick suffering from diarrhoa which left me with several toilet breaks, running out of time and unable to finish the questions'

lol

If you want to use the sick excuse, go too a medical centre now, and get medical certificate and get them to sign the deferred exam form.

You can apply to sit a deferred exam for an exam you actually did.

Did the other students struggle with the questions?

My issue with questions in my test is that one asked us to list the 10 headings from 1 of the 7 articles we were asked to read in the same week. Also were told the weighting for the short answer questions would be half what they were according to the exam paper.

The other questions asked us to draw a model from a random reading, the model had about 20 different components and we were never told to focus on it or anything.

Everybody who I spoke to from my class felt the same, if it was just me, then I would have had no chance.

SOMEONE SHOOT ME NOW, LOOK WHAT I SENT TO MY ASSPROF

Thanks for all the help, unfortunately I don't think its going to show in the exam, I made a couple of silly mistakes, like the particle in a box I forgot to extend the bond length by two, so thats 5 marks gone and the image of drawing the spectra, my peak for S2 was small so it became hidden in all the fine vibrational peaks I drew 9 it looks like a straight line on a angle in s2 area), so again another 4 marks gone. Im guessing rhe average is going to be very high for this exam,so I hope I do ok.

Thanks for helping me.

Im talking to him like a friend, hes probably thinking im trying to suck up, its just a habit of mine to kinda waffle on.........

Btw how does uni sclaing work?

Man, Physiology and Anatomy is kicking my arse. Trying to get it all in over the next few weeks so I nail the exam.

I am only on 59 per cent at the moment, making it my worst subject by a long shot, the exam is worth 45 per cent of my final mark, I want at least a credit for the unit, but the goal is a distinction, which will take almost a miracle, the unit included six hours of lectures tutes and practicals a week and our teachers still struggled to get through the content.

All this because our university decided that all students have to do two shithouse community related artsy crap courses. Because our course is an exercise science course the coordinators decided that they would force our bio teachers to condense physiology and anatomy into one mega subject rather than keep it at two.

We also lost one of our industry experience units, all this for crap that is going to have absolutely no relevance in our future careers.

It annoys me because I am loved learning physiology and anatomy and hate that it feels like we rushed through it.
