At first I studied Bachelor of Communication Design as Billy Blue College of Design (A private college in North Sydney). My teacher was an absolute racist f*ck and I had other issues, so I left after one semester in 2011. Deffered to Enmore Design School (A division of the TAFE there) for Semester 2 2011.

All of 2012 I had off due to surgery and being very un-well with my genetic condition. Start of this year I went back to Enmore and resume studies but I've lost all my interest in design completely. With 1.5 years left to study, I can't see myself getting through. Not to mention, it's also a painful 90 minutes travel each-way.

So, after much research and discuss I've decided to get into a field I was passionate about since Day 1 and always very good at (Having been around it my whole life).

I'm doing my Bachelor of Medical Medicine with a major in Genetic Medicine. Either at Macquarie University of Hawkesbury University. From there, I go and do my internship and get into the field of medical work at a hospital. Hard f*cking work, but I'm going to set my self to it. Got both the brain and passion for it. So not going to let it go to waste doing something I wasn't enjoying.

As my dad told me. "You're an idiot if you ignore medicine. You got a condition that you know off the back of your hand. How many other people in Medicine can say to a patient "Yes, I know how you feel".

So, here I am. Wasted a few years f*cking around with design, but I'm still young.

Bachelor of Medical Medicine.... Hawkesbury University..... huh?

First semester results back today, could not be happier.

What uni is that? We are only in week 11 and don't have exams until mid June for semester 1..

Wish i was in your position and finished though.. Motivation during this semester has been low, coupled with the less fun subjects of the course and a sick baby in and out of hospital and its been a tough start to the year.

Also just discovered I can't do the elective I wanted to next semester, none of the offerings interest me... on that basis, am going to do a first year elective to make it as easy as possible for myself.

How long does it take doing trimesters?

I'm doing three semesters this year so finish next.. And then do the diploma at the college of law..

Looking forward to it being all done but its still a long way off yet.

8 semesters, so 2 years 2 semesters. If I don't do the Comm degree I'm currently planning to I'll be done in August 2015.

I reckon get it over and done with is the way to go. Being constantly broke is definitely supporting that attitude.

Yeah.. At qut.

You do trimesters at Bond?

What year you in?

God that takes me back.

They still wheeling Cliff Crawford out for Crim? Some of the Lecturers and Tutors in the school of law are people who used to drag me out of the Guild Bar stinking drunk at Kelvin Grove nearly a decade ago now

Wouldn't it be better to get the experience through a law firm though? Idk, haven't really looked into it at this stage.

Just enrolled for Uni again. Was late in enrolling so I missed out on my "ultimate blow off class".

Took semester 1 off to earn money and push out my expected complete date. Job prospects are f**ked at the moment. Bloody Campbell Newman.
