Not motivated for any studying at all, I just want to lay in my bed and stare at the ceiling.

Anyway, back to procrastinating !

P.s. @cliffy as if you would get kicked out for that, it's a well written email; which is more than I can say for some of the emails sent to one of my lecturers from people that failed last year.

I remember an exam where the guy forgot to bring the exam answer sheets with him, left the questions on the front desk and left for 20 mins to return with a new box of reflex paper to write our answers on. Only one person had the guts to go to the front of the class to look at the questions and told everyone to relax while they were telling him to sit back down before the tutor came back and saw him. Fortune favours the brave because we could of all left and had lunch and returned before the tutor was back. Was complete comedy hour.

The one time I complained about an exam at uni, I went into the lecturer's office during the holidays to ask him about why I'd got such a low mark in my essay. It was seriously less than half what I was expecting.

He started by saying "well we were looking for you to mention this and that and this and that", all of which I told him I had mentioned. So he quickly glanced through my essay and said "you didn't mention the most important part, which was...".

Immediately I said "yes I did" and pointed him to the two massive paragraphs I had written about it.

He looked at it and said "oh...well the marker must have found another problem with it". I asked him what it could have been and he said "you would have to ask them, but I do not tell students who the markers are. Their decision is final".

It turned what I thought would be an HD into a C.

If he doesn't do something about it then I will take it further. Sending him the email was a courtesy thing, I was given him the chance to rectify his mistake.

In one of my courses last year, the final exam was so unlike any tutorial questions or practice exams we'd been given the fail rate for the course was about 90%. After a near riot, we were given the option of an having our assessment reweighted which led to me passing eventually, or we could resit the exam if we thought we were due higher grades. I took the pass grade, P's get degrees! :D

I hope the dumb bish course convenor got deported

If it was a different lecturer I would have just finished it bluntly, but Stephen is pretty timid and uneasy, he would have felt really threatened had I not ended it on a positive and that would complicate the issue.

I can fail this exam and still get a credit, I've already past the unit, but I want a distinction at least. Ps don't get you into honours or masters courses.

f**k you're a jaded tool Hooch, everybody who I spoke to, felt the same about those questions, so I have got a strong chance here.

If everybody gets 0 for a question that's worth 20 per cent of the total mark for the exam I am sure he will reconsider. As for the other one, it was a ridiculous question to ask, especially given its weighting. There is no way, he is going to get away with those bullshit questions and their weightings.

If I remember correctly (which I probably don't) he's doing a business degree, so chances are it's going to matter when he applies for a job with Macquarie Bank that 1,000 other graduates have applied for.

 It won't happen. He's already gotten away with it. Just forget about it and move to the next one.

1. If someone smashed those questions they would have every right to be ropeable if the mark was changed.

2. If everyone got 0 you're all even and afaik marks are ratcheted up and down with the class from year to year.

3. This shit would happen every f**king time if they let it.

etc etc

I'm sure even an exercise phys student can see it

jaded I know but talk to me in 3 weeks when they've palmed you off and done nothing about it

I will keep fighting, I have pull with the chancellor of the university, f**k I will go straight to the Arch Bishop if I have, I don't care, I will burn bridges, I will f**k off people, in the end I would sell my soul for a distinction if I have to, I don't care.

He also told us the last two questions will be worth five marks each before the study break, they were worth ten each. He cannot say one thing and then change it without warning us. He f**ked up.
