What possible discplinary action could there be? A firm spanking?

He'll just delete it or ignore it and we'll all go round again next term.

God I love uni.

I have bipolar. No I am not saying I should get extra marks because of it, I am for some reason he believes I need disciplinary action for emailing him about the exam then it's going to be pretty hard for them to punish me.

So you can act with impunity......because you have bi-polar?

Surely that can't be true..!!

FTR......I can't see you being disciplined in this case simply because you've had a sook to one of your lecturers. If you were to take it any further I think the most someone would / SHOULD do, is sit you down and explain to you that as students.......you do not decide what is, and what is not going to be tested as part of the curriculum.

Probably a reality check is in order......

I was saying on the off chance he felt my email with disrespectful towards him. No I cannot act however I want, but bi polar gets extremely debilitating, to extents that unless you suffer from it, you wouldn't understand.

As I said, maybe I am being naive but I don't believe he will delete it, lecturers tend to take your complaints seriously when they know you put the effort in.

I am not asking for special considerations because of my bipolar in relation to my marks I said if te uni wanted to kick me out for sending him that email. I wasn't the least bit rude in it. I certainly didn't call him names. I hope they refuse your request for a deferred exam and you've to repeat the whole unit and i hope you spend the rest of your life repeating it because that's what you f**king deserve, you prick.

Well strictly speaking the joke wasn't about the disorder.

I take it the answer to my question was yes :)

Have others emailed him? You'd be better off getting safety in numbers.
There are questions in exams purely to separate people from the pack, they're in every exam and they are usually curve balls.
So I'm unsure if you'll be successful with this guy.

I spoke to about 15 people after the exam and they're supposed to be emailing him too, but it was their last exam so I am thinking they probably got so drunk on Friday night they probably forgot about it. Hopefully the did follow through.

Wife has been at home off work sick and unable to do much for the last 6 weeks and had our child yesterday.

I am hoping the combination of having to deal with all that while working full time will get me something in way of consideration for exams which start on wednesday.

If they won't let me defer wednesdays i will have no issue with passing and getting a decent grade, I want better than that though so will at least give it a try

You don't ask your lecturer to defer. Go on the uni website and there's a section to apply for deferred exams you usually have to do it within five working days of the exam.

Your wife having a baby sounds like an extraordinary circumstance to me, but that's at the University's discretion.

You can't email the lecturer about that. You need to sign in deferred exam not long after the results of publication. It is really rude to make an excuse to your lecturer about your grades.

Meanwhile, I have one more exam left of the first part of my final year. So happy to finish it off! Light at the end of the tunnel is approaching.
