I bet who he was protesting against thought it was
Ah...the British Empire.
I bet who he was protesting against thought it was
It's footy Ram !
Listen here Ant, we all know that this team is a shadow of the team that it was. That's the fu*king point.
I know you're an Ant, but I didn't think it extended to your mental capacity as well.
There are so many reasons why this team is in the position that it is today, and all levels of the club have some responsibility for it being there. Not the fans who are fed up with the never ending fu*ckups that they have committed.
DO YOU GET THAT?!!!
I still don't think you do.
Ah my dear ram, I will indulge as to why I respond to your little rant and those of others. Because quite simply it is very easy to protest it much more difficult to present solutions that rate high enough not to be the next ball of scrap paper in the bin. Its a shame because sometimes those who yell loudest and can't find an appropriate adjective to substitute for the F word get heard, rather than those with the ideas.
Bandwagons are very easy to join. The "don't go to the games that'll teach them" bandwagon, the "sack the coach" bandwagon, the "promote all the reserve grade players" bandwagon. Problem is none of them are a viable solution.
To take your argument yes all levels of the club are responsible, so why single out one or two people as some posters do. But yes the supporters are part of the club and if you don't think they have an impact on the club did you watch last week's news.
My mental capacity is large, we ants build amazing things, not bang our heads against each other ram.
By the way who were the fans who helped run Tim Smith out of our team, because everybody on here says it wasn't me.
Oh and big boppa, early 30s, plenty but not as many in recent years due to location. And I hit that tree over there your turn.
Big boppa, Suity, Ram, Fish, RJ, Tin Man, RJ and Mulder...well said comrades, I'm with you all the way.
You've raised some great points, unfortunately you've hit a nerve with the more reactionary elements of the forum...
The likes of Ant, Gronk and MITS accuse you of flippancy and disloyalty...not guilty say I.
Anxious for change - guilty, exploring options to express this to the club - guilty, loyal Parra supporters - guilty, so I urge you to keep up the good work because people are listening.
Are we supposed to sit passively whilst the club is brought to it's knees, obviously so if you listen to the aforementioned. Apparently it's acceptable to criticise tthe club from DF down to the players, but at all times keep turning up at games and handing over your hard-earned for no reciprocation...
Not that's it about money, it's about the appreciation of good football and how we feel cheated when its not played; it's about accepting the notion that there can be a nobility in losing, and not winning a title; that the football can be worth it on its own terms...but we're not seeing that.
As many have mentioned previously, we've supported the club through bad times before...
Trouble is, the ol' moral high ground can be a tricky environment to hold, comments like "come back when we're winning, I'll be here" and ""get out of the trenches" are pitiful. These individuals have put themselves up as the barometer of what it means to 'support' Parra, if you don't agree with, or abide by their definition, then you're nothing...regardless of how long you've been going to games, whether you actually can travel to the games, or how much time, effort and money you've put into the club over the years...
My self esteem and confidence is high so I don't need the self appointed vanguard defining my relationship with the club, hence, I'll do what I think is right to show my feelings, about my club.
My decision will not be made because of pithy remarks about loyalty from the person who sits next to me at the stadium, stands alongside me at the bar of the Woolpack, or berates me on an internet forum. It will be made like every other decision I make, after careful consideration...
so if, and when, I vote with my feet, you can remain sitting on your hands...
To DF, the Board, Hages and the players I simply say this; 'Con el socio todo, sin el socio nada'

Firstly I have not accused anyone of disloyalty. I have merely called them Bandwagon supporters. Those that turn up when we are winning or when we are going well.
This is again the fickle nature of Parramatta supporters. If you want to do something figure out how to then do it.
I have no doubt they are a barometer, no one is saying they do not have cause to be aggrieved, just that their cause of action is highly fallible.
Honestly, the Wollpack.
If you want to do something figure out how to then do it.
Tell me Mark, its a question I posed earlier.
What can the average fan do to demonstrate their unhappiness with what they are seeing?
Not turn up?
Write a letter?
Maybe post here?
Ring Ray?
People will naturally stop turning up and that is the way supporters can send a message, rather than someone writing a letter here or there. With or without a 'boycott', our crowds will drop and that will send Hagan and the players a strong message that the fans are not happy with what has been dished up.
Fickle my arse mate. You have no idea...really.
If you truly want to boycott, then turn up to the game and stand outside.
Otherwise the other methods you have stated may allow people to vent.
Voting well that is something else but only happens once every 2 years these days.
Doesnt quite answer the question. But anyway.
Is that voting for a football club board that doesnt control the NRL side?
Typical Management response. Those that want to do something to protest are either fickle or band wagoners. Bloody ridiculous that.
Lets see so far:
1) We're losing with some much talent in first grade and in toyota cup.
2) We'd be lucky to make the 8
3) Our juniors are signing with other clubs
4) The coach hasn't got any balls
5) The CEO admits we might die in 5 years
6) The CEO is fully supporting a coach with no balls, no idea and nothing to show for this season.
7) There are many players who would be doing well to play for Wenty
8) A scary thought but all the other clubs bar Canberra are looking better than us next season.
Now after all that, how the f**k do you expect people to not protest, boycott games, write letters, call Rayyyyyy and other things.
Its not just about losing, teams lose all the time. The club itself is looking shaky in the future.
oh and btw, im a season ticket holder just in case someone tries to call me a band wagoner.
Well, the issue of how fans react is interesting.
I was in my newsagent on Sunday morning, and he was there in his Parra shirt, and we spoke for a while and his remarks were:- " I took my family of 5 to the game again last night, you can tell whoever wants to know that I won't be going back this year . They need to show some passion and get rid of that d...head coach"
I think that sums up a fair number of supporters that attend semi regularly.
Overall, I hope that the guys that matter at the club read the posts and take most of it into account, somehow I think we all know that they ignore fans as uneducated rabble. That is quite amusing as I believe a fair few of us have more qualifications than anyone on managemanet at the club.
I don't mind the calling ray or writing letters, Hell if you want to Boycott a game I support you in doing that. Turn up to the car Park or something with a Sign, really show the Boycott. But this suggestion that staying home and not going to an eels game is a Noble form of protest. Please.
and Dellboy, I dont think that makes them fickle. It just makes them someone who wants value when they go and watch their side.
