Cappy fk'd up as well by naming Wright on the bench. Hardly an impact player and when was the last time anybody named a winger on the bench?? FRUSTRATED!!

Tim sheens would be the last coach to name a winger on the bench

Fu**ing retarted , nothing really else to say

Can't believe that performance , they rolled us in the 2nd half , Wrights play was unforgivable but we were f**cked before that

Damn, that one was painful. I feel that we got a fairly generous run of the refs calls this week, and we're probably lucky to still be in a good chance to win at the end.

I feel bad for Wright, but that was an unforgivable error. Probably would have won if he could catch the ball. Frustrating loss, but still probably the best we have played for a couple of months (even though we still under performed significantly).

I doubt it TBH. Sure it was a seven tackle set but we weren't exactly making huge yards with the ball. We'dve needed a field goal that set to get the win. Had it gone to golden point they've beaten us I think.

Anyway he shouldn't have even been trying to catch the ball- catch it and its a 6 tackle set, leave it and it's 7..... epic brain snap.

I'm half-cut and pissed-off.

The kettle's on and I'm gonna watch the classic movie, Zulu. Haven't seen it for about twenty years.

Just trying to salvage something from my Saturday night, once again the Warriors have pretty much ruined it for me.

I'm hoping the rock can salvage my night, San Andreas hopefully has a better ending :sarcasm:

Serves Cappy right for dropping a clanger like Wright on the bench instead of Havili. Wright showed exactly why he is (slash should be) a last resort option. With guys on the comeback trail and Maumalo looking like he's played his way above Wright in the pecking order, I wouldn't be shocked to see Wright play out the year in NSW cup. As for the coach.. would love Toovey, that would be an upgrade for sure.. but surely we can't sack another coach in a row. Surely.

That said, we got lucky with some calls (the big ref mistake - the 6 again call - leading to the Roosters' score-leveling try did somewhat counter that, but by no means totally). Bit of a spineless performance after having them on the rack in the first 35 minutes - we didn't deserve to win.

Highlights: RFM looked encouraging, Kata will be a monster - if he can sort out his hands, Ikahihifo looked way better than his earlier cameo performances, Vete impressed, Matulino is incredible and Hurrell looked in his best touch so far this year. I enjoyed the block play on the field goal as well, though Mannering was an idiot who was very lucky not to give away a penalty there. Friend had a really good running game. Matagi - didn't get too much involvement, but happy to see him running it up hard.. best of luck to him.

Lowlights: Taukeiaho (prick). Tui's brain explosion in his in-goal. Kata's hands. Wright/idiotic decision to have him on the bench. The communication for Elliot's try. Almost conceding AGAIN from dummy half (seriously guys...)

How long should we expect a team to under perform? It's been 3 1/2 seasons now

You could actually say that we're going backwards if anything. Unlike the previous few years, it looks as if there won't be a winning run during the Origin period to get us in contention for the finals. There were some pretty dumb and unforgivable errors and penalties conceded in the last 30 minutes of that game tonight.

Wright mistake unforgivable.
First half 3 repeat set resulting in squat. No one running lines, just a Mannering Friend run around.
Lolo had some important hands in the first half back line plays. But his hands failed him in goal on the half.
Johnsons miss of conversions costly.
Hurrells energy especially in the second half Katz try backing up after his first touch.
But then didn't put an effort for the Elliot try!
Manu barnstorming hit up that results in a loose carry (Friend strip?) Back to back penalties and they take the 2 points.
Johnson went into defensive mode at 58 min moment. Kicking for the line, must be questioning our fitness if 20mins out we need the rest.
Kata could of left it for Manu for his knock on, do these guys call out there? Thankfully Friend lost it before the line.
65 min Cappy exposed as an amature Friend off for concussion test. Havalli comes on as hooker, but no Wright to fullback, Lolo to 6 and Townsend to hooker.
Johnson pass to the sideline showed more communication issues!
Field goal looked like a NFL play, very lucky with Mannering. 3rd tackle as well.... To early?
Again Wrights brain snap unforgivable.
Continues to be an a mature outfit.

I am not for sacking the coach with no one on the hook signed and sealed.
But it must be at the top of the list for Doyle.

We were down to two interchanges with no hooker and a reshuffled backline remember- I'm not going to hang shit on SJ for that one.

Friend may have just earned himself a contract for next year, while Wright, see you later, unforgivable from him tonight

I'm sure I was thinking very much like every other Warriors fan when I just knew that 14 point lead didn't mean anything. I could make a good loving just by waiting until the Warriors get a semi decent lead and betting big on the other team. I won't win every time, but the odds would be well on my side.

:D Couldn't believe the Roosters were paying $2.35 head to head.

Hasn't Taukeiaho improved? And Maloney still holds the money cards; directs the team well.

Giving up a big half time lead - again - heads will roll. Oh no, I forgot it's Cappy in charge; give them a chance to redeem themselves - again.

Defence aside, Lolohea is not a Full Back. His positioning on the last tackle is not good, his hands arent the greatest, and he seems too scared to dive on a loose ball. IMO a standoff playing fullback, much like Webb/Hohaia. Let him have the supersub role off of the bench or develop him as a standoff. Pity that we have little to no other Fullback options with the pom injured. Maybe give Abbey a run (who cares if he is off to the dogs next year).

I'd rather see fus, fish or even Jono there than abbey. Jono looked good until the howler! Plenty of positives from last night but this is a very green side with not a whole lot of experience throwing in another rookie will not help. Team defence and fitness needs to improve,
no line speed at all allowing the opposition to just roll up the field. Whatever happened to that aggressive defence when cappy first took the helm?

Hated Watching Taukiaho beast us in that fashion.

For me this highlights the warriors struggles more than anything, always had potential but would never have been developed like that if he stayed. Makes me wonder what Mutts could be if he went to a team like the roosters.
