Yes there is that as well. Really all NS or a partnership with other current second grade clubs would offer is Jnr pathways into that Perth reserve grade side. More and more we are seeing a seperation from Jnrs to NRL with kids moving anywhere they can get a shot.I think national reserve grade will be in beforehand. So there would be no north Sydney in reserve grade.
100%.Probably like anyone who understands Perth he know that a FIFO NS Bears playing in Perth will be a disaster in the making. A West Coast Bears owned by WA and 100% based in WA, now thats a different proposition.
I can’t even work out what St George’s identity is anymore. They don’t really have a player base in Sydney. It’s in the Illawarra. For a club with a reputedly huge supporter base they play out of a pretty awful ground in Sydney which is rarely three quarters full. As for wests tigers where do you start? How many grounds are they playing out of this year? At least they have huge potential for growth. Apart from moving to the Illawarra permanently I can’t see what St George can do. Maybe play a couple of big games out of the SFS but the rest in the Gong?Yeah, no shit. Do we really want three dodgy merged clubs? You can't tell me saints and wests are great clubs/ business models
No! What Bears are offering is nothing like that. They either need to change their expectations or remain in the wilderness and we will go it alone. Perth will be in with our without Bears eventually. In a country as small as Australia you cant afford to ignore a wealthy 10% of its population and not expose your product to them. There both basket cases. Id be happy with a full relocation . Is an NRL team offering to do that?
9 games gong 3 games sfsI can’t even work out what St George’s identity is anymore. They don’t really have a player base in Sydney. It’s in the Illawarra. There's not enough corporates in Wollongong and crowds of 11k at 9 games aren't going to pay the bills.9 games gong 3 games sfs
blow up kogarah or sell for development
they have loads of juniors in Illawarra thibk it’s like 3k
They have really killed off their own brandsI can’t even work out what St George’s identity is anymore. They don’t really have a player base in Sydney. It’s in the Illawarra. Again with this strawman argument BS, you got a rose colored pirate patch on, no one is going to team up with perth all the way to the other side of this continent, just to feed you juniors, without geting some ownership, no way will bears or newtown, easts tigers, etc ... now that the arlc are looking at club bids, the 2bd tier clubs know they are in with a chance to be part of a 1st grade competition, fancy a bid team from perth asking for your team for a few years while we get ourselves standing upright... there we go thanks for all that, now we got our own pathway, you may now f**k off back to whence you came from... fk that, if they are risking their cattle and the money theyve put into developing them, theyd want the license and the team, a true partnership, not juniors for hireThere is nothing Bears offer in that Dept that a partnership with Newton, Easts Tigers or one of the other NSWRL/QRL cups cant offer.
WA development is a whole different kettle of fish.
Nice strawman argument there.
Don't perth have 4k juniors?9 games gong 3 games sfs
blow up kogarah or sell for development

Yeah....nah... pipe dreamI think national reserve grade will be in beforehand. So there would be no north Sydney in reserve grade.
They'll take the money like they take Melbourne's money. Like norths took Souths and the chooks money, they need it. And if there in no national reserve grade team they will happily take the squad members not playing NRL that week.Again with this strawman argument BS, you got a rose colored pirate patch on, no one is going to team up with perth all the way to the other side of this continent, just to feed you juniors, without geting some ownership, no way will bears or newtown, easts tigers, etc ... now that the arlc are looking at club bids, the 2bd tier clubs know they are in with a chance to be part of a 1st grade competition, fancy a bid team from perth asking for your team for a few years while we get ourselves standing upright... there we go thanks for all that, now we got our own pathway, you may now f**k off back to whence you came from... fk that, if they are risking their cattle and the money theyve put into developing them, theyd want the license and the team, a true partnership, not juniors for hire
In a city of over 2 million, vs Wollongongs 300k...Don't perth have 4k juniors?
lol, when you start comparing Ayres rock to WA then yeh your credibility heads out the window!Again with this strawman argument BS, you got a rose colored pirate patch on, no one is going to team up with perth all the way to the other side of this continent, just to feed you juniors, without geting some ownership, no way will bears or newtown, easts tigers, etc ... now that the arlc are looking at club bids, the 2bd tier clubs know they are in with a chance to be part of a 1st grade competition, fancy a bid team from perth asking for your team for a few years while we get ourselves standing upright... there we go thanks for all that, now we got our own pathway, you may now f**k off back to whence you came from... fk that, if they are risking their cattle and the money theyve put into developing them, theyd want the license and the team, a true partnership, not juniors for hire
They needed the pathway, money is secondary..They'll take the money like they take Melbourne's money. Like norths took Souths and the chooks money, they need it.
Pretty much what you say. Player numbers in the gong and surround region are very high and much more than 3000.9 games gong 3 games sfs

So which came first the bid of the storm to enter the league or the partnership with norths or falcons?lol, when you start comparing Ayres rock to WA then yeh your credibility heads out the window!
Oh you know that for fact? Id think a team up with an NRl club (regardless of location) once many of them lose their current relationships due to reserve grade would be very attractive to keep a second tier club relevant.
Yeh fancy that, its not like any NRL club hasnt had that arrangement with a second tier club before is it? Oh hang on lol
Yeh I can see that the Falcons, for example, are demanding ownership of the Storm. What planet are you on???
Got a good giggle out of that oneIn a city of over 2 million, vs Wollongongs 300k...
They'd better be fkng good juniors on that ratio
wtf has that to do with it? No second tier club in a realtionship with an NRL club is demanding ownership lol.So which came first the bid of the storm to enter the league or the partnership with norths or falcons?
Kogarah as a home ground doesn’t mean so much for the dragonsPretty much what you say. Player numbers in the gong and surround region are very high and much more than 3000.
