So which came first the bid of the storm to enter the league or the partnership with norths or falcons?
Answer =the storm came first, then the feeder partnerships somewhat later down the line maybe two or three years, after they realised that Victoria don't play rugba league, but its fine coz a metro market of almost 5 mill, it worth feeding it, and accepting that they shant be giving back players.

Perth has to Bid now, but they aint got no team, no club, no juniors.... so you now need to ask for a partnership even before you can bid.. wtf..

Any existing 2nd tier club would be insulted by a bid team thinking they can win just by being "perth", not when they themselves with their juniors and development squads, coaches and clinics, can win the bid themselves and fifo in Adelaide to rival the "Perth only" bid

nice rant, none if it based in reality.
I noticed you've totally ignored me pointing out that Redcliffe had to go out and sign an entire squad of players, and a host of Jnrs, from other clubs?

The Bears stating that they have $15M in sponsorship lined up, is good news for whoever is bidding for Team 18.

It means there is some pent up demand to sponsor an NRL team, so if I'm Perth or the Firehawks I'd be on the phone to said sponsors securing their commitment away from the Bears.
None of the nine Sydney clubs generate $10m per season from their sponsors.

Absolutely, your posts on the actual footy are really good.
Lol! On this thread I have a very clear view. WA has to have its own team free of the bloody bears. I reckon they’ll kill every metric once they’ve been established and have the capacity to significantly out perform GWS and the Suns. I just wish Pete would announce it once and for all.

No doubts Bears handing over the club to WA would bring many benefits. But only if its handed over, anything else becomes an absolute sht show down the track that just isnt worth it.

I know that is your thoughts. That why I like them.
I'm not trolling if that's what you think
