Did you look that up in ur latest edition of encyclopedia Britannica?! Such a try hard thinks looking down on wiki makes you look like an intellectual. Dickhead pretends he's using published papers for forum debate.

Yeah, qld has greater population with bigger economy. If wa is such an advantage for afl why don't they have 9 teams there instead of Melbourne?!
I'll answer question you'll avoid; because per capita means shit & Vic the bigger & more lucrative economy.

I can’t help it if I am more intelligent than you. A factor is having an open mind about things - something that you should learn to do.

So you actually think per capita means shit even though I explained why it is relevant? Are you thick or are you doubling down because you can’t admit defeat?

By your rationale, do you think that Mexico and Brazil have a stronger economy than Ireland and Switzerland for example? Do you think people living there would agree with you? I’m sure they prefer living on $200 per week as opposed to $2000 - $2500 per week

On to your rather laboured analogy about fumbleball. They can do whatever the f*** they want. They could put the next side on the moon for all I care. They have different priorities and advantages/disadvantages to league - even for you that would be obvious. I’m also not suggesting that Melbourne and Sydney don’t have value as they clearly do - nice strawman argument.

However, one thing I’ll add - they are not run by myopic idiots like yourself. They realised the value of every metro market about 30 years ago and planned for it. We have people like you still arguing that as a game we should put a 10th side in Sydney or a fifth side in Queensland (thus saturating markets) instead of realising the commercial value of a team in markets of millions of people.

..you mean like a league which was set up in 2005 & has mostly NSW & Victorian teams?!
Here's cities ranked by deloitte based on commercial metrics;

2nd brisbane ranks ahead of 2nd Perth. Remember to use Chicago 17th citation when referencing reply tosser

Is this gimp really trying to argue that Perth isn't wealthy, doesn't have one of the highest disposable income rates in the country per household and doesn't contribute massively to the Australian economy? hahahahh

Sutherland doesn't need St. George or the Gong. They need us.
Sutherland ranks high enough on its lonesome.

Southern Sydney Sharks would be a great brand and represent 800k or more people. Representing all of Southern Sydney and Wollongong would drive up revenue from sponsorship deals. I'd like to imagine a club of this size could become as big off the field as the Cowboys. If Cowboys had to share North Queensland with another club then it would eat into their football revenue and jeopardise their viability. It's better to have one financially strong club than two small clubs cannibalising one another in the world of professional sport.

Sky blue, black, white and scarlet red would be an interesting colour scheme.

So let me answer the question u avoided; the biggest economy's in Australia by state are NSW (by some distance), Victoria & then qld. That's why afl will put third team in qld long before they do want.
Thank u

Can you translate this to English please?

Cronulla, st George, Illawarra team would be powerhouse, but what about north shore/ northern beaches?!
Manly has never tried to grow their fanbase. They're the most insular club in the competition. I'd piss them off interstate and let the Roosters cover everything from the eastern suburbs to Gosford. If they did it right then they could add another 5-10k active fans to their supporter base and average 20k to their games.

Maybe the Roosters could merge with the Sharks. Sydney City Sharks. Rooster is a dumb Mascot.
