What are your feelings on how things may play out ?.

I honestly think it'll happen, and I won't be surprised if it happens this off-season so as not to distract people from other NRL events (AllStars, Vegas, early season Telstra Premiership, ect). I also would not be surprised if they announce it at or in the lead-up to the Perth double-header in Round 6 (mid April).

I've only been in touch with Sacko once in the past several months, and that was when the WA consortium were going for the licence, so I don't have any inside info, unfortunately. A few years ago when I was President of the Joondalup Giants, I was closer to the action and trustworthy enough so that I was being told things that I wasn't to repeat and thus had inside info about things at that time. But since stepping down, I'm kinda out of the loop these days. I still have connections, but I'm not one to exploit that ... as much as I'd love to know what's going on with this!! Haha!
