Maybe they can incorporate the shape of the state of Western Australia on that west side of the face too... i mean its a great logo, probably needs a more open mouth tho

Edit::: I did some work it, added the WA coastline, changed the colors, and name, and gave the bear some front teeth

Why? There's heaps of bear there, heavy amount of colors of red and black, got a W and a N.... home is Perth, so WA coastline is evident, nothing to bitch about really... besides beggars cant be choosers...
You think tigers fans whine about that magpie on their shoulder.... nope
I lot do actually, it's a problem with mergers

It’s interesting we haven’t yet heard from any of the perth interested bid parties on this idea.

I really think the arlc would ideally want a brand new stadium

for an expansion club hbf park is poor. Even if they upgrade it it looks dated and disjointed

a rectangular ground is an improvement over the waca but they really need something like aami or maybe commbank

something new and iconic

looking at hbf it’s so uninspiring

Yeah, I don't think you can put a copyright on a cardinal direction or a geographic location or region. It would cause all sorts of mayhem. Now, if the NRL; hypothetically, were to move Manly to WA, then the WCE would have a cause to put all sorts of injunctions on the use of West Coast in association with the Eagle or Sea Eagle brand because it is too close to their branding.

Monikers are a different story as they are an identity. Cronulla stopped the GC use of the sharks because the Southport Sharks (GC AFL club) have similar colours to the Cronulla sharks (Black and white, just no sky blue. Unlikely they would be able to use B & W because of collingwood).

The GC RL bid in 2007 sought permission from the Miami Dolphins to use the dolphin moniker but neglected to seek permission from the Redcliffe Dolphins. As Redcliffe had ambitions to join the NRL they put in injunctions to stop the GC bid being named "GC Dolphins"; hence they had to rapidly change the bid name to the Titans.... and the rest is history.

"Initially the team was to be named the Gold Coast Dolphins, with the team colours to be white, jade and orange. While the Dolphins moniker was popular among many, the heavyweight Brisbane Queensland Cup side the Redcliffe Dolphins saw it as a threat for any prospect of entering the NRL they had, and as a result threatened severe legal action if the Gold Coast used the Dolphins name."
The GC bid should just have changed the name to Titans, but kept those colours. The Jade/ White/ Orange combo would be truly distinctive in the NRL and far more marketable than the turquoise/ white/ yellow (sorry- sand) combo they went with. It feels like they have three secondary colours but no main one. That jade green could've been their 'main' colour and the orange would've popped as well.

Its never too late, it can slowly change that way over time... the chargers had similar colors, with purple, maybe one day they have a heritage throwback to them... then if it takes maybe they revert colors to them again, they had the most unique color combo in RL
