Go back to the Western Bears consortium and get a license fee that's agreeable to both sides and ask them to commit a reasonable amount to jnr RL.
10 year agreement:
NRL put in $1mill extra year to NRLWA
Club commits $2mil a year investment to pathways
WA Govt commits $2mill a year to NRLWA
That sees NRLWA funding quadruple and the club be committed to player development. Thats a 4:1 investment ratio for NRL.
Then we have the NS side of the partnership and the ramping up of their pathways to provide the club with players as well.
But that is all for the good of rugby league in WA and I very much get the sense all the NRL cares about is whats good for NRLHQ at this point.
