Didn't need a Crystal ball to see there would be at least one negative reaction to a first up trial loss. ;-)

well you're carrying like you've actually watched the game..
you are the perenial whinger spartan, any moron would tell you that we're in for a tough season so i suggest if it gets too hot you take up lawn bowls this year because chances are it aint going to get much better.
Parramatta were close to tying up the match just a minute into the second half when Justin Horo broke through the line but he was brought down just centimetres away from the tryline. On the next play lock Billy Rogers dropped the ball across the line.
The Warriors were quick to respond through winger Glen Fisiiahi who broke the line and managed to evade all chasing defenders to score. Inu converted for a 14-4 lead.
Justin Horo punched a gap through the Warriors again to put the Eels in scoring position, however Parramatta just lacked a finishing touch to get across the tryline.
It was Fisiiahi who stretched the lead to 20-4 when some offloading and strong running from the Warriors broke the Eels’ defensive line at the 60-minute mark.
Warrior Lewis Brown scored just before the end of the match to put the final score at 24-4.
Captain Luke Burt was proud of his young side, which featured many of the Eels’ new recruits, and believes the game was an important hit-out.
“It was good finally get out there after a long, hard pre-season, it was excellent to have a hit out like that. Unfortunately we didn’t get result but there were good signs,” Burt says.
“Our defence in the first half was very strong and a lot of the young fellas played very well. The boys in the middle performed at a high level for their first game of the year.
“I think we have a little fine tuning to do with our attack but overall we can take a lot out of it.”
x2, some the hand wringing by the usual supsects is good for a laugh.Trials can be misleading. Hell we might have played all rookies in the 2nd half. As long as we have no injuries I'm happy.
on trial form Horo will be starting?
Mostly agree with you there Ivor just that I do feel we'll see an improvement in structure/teamwork and while that won't always translate to winning it will at least allow us to compete for the full game rather than collapsing into an outright rabble.I think that`s the real answer. And the sooner we all realise that, the happier we`ll all be. Parramatta are going to be real underdogs this year. I don`t know about anyone else, but I`ve always liked supporting underdogs. I`ve made up my mind that I`m going to enjoy this season.

With all due respect to everybody, I don`t think anyone is doing any 'hand-wringing'.
 Just like last week's thread, you don't seem to post anything until you have an opprtunity to take a swipe at me.
Jokes, but in all actuality, I was joking in regards to Inu and Mateo. I'm stupid, but I'm not stupid enough to see that the trial didn't reflect on Inu at all.
Aside, what I think really makes bandering about this result pointless is the fact that the Warriors had a lot of their first-grade players in their squad, and we had a few. Most of our players either have never played first-grade or are new to the club. But that doesn't really matter in the scheme of things, again it's just a trial.
Well, I wouldn't call it hand wringing but I have spent the past few minutes putting cortisone cream onto my hands.....
Two more to go but at this stage I wouldn't rule out 11. Hindmarsh 12. Smith and 13. Horo
