I think Waqa centre, Simmonson wing. They'll keep marata as the versatile forward that can cover the backs.
I think we'll find either brown or Cartwright in or even both

They spoke about it on MMM after the game. The consensus was that the Marata starting / Matto coming on was working so well, that you can’t change it.

So Waqa to centres and Bailey Simonsson on the wing was the go, only they were worried about Bailey’s errors.

Well Dylan Brown won't be in the centres surely.

Now he's made a final 4 finish, don't give BA any crazy ideas... like JA into the starting side for Oppa .

Good point, leaving Marata starting with Matterson to follow has been working a treat over the past month or so.

Would still like Brown and/or Cartwright to get a look-in on the bench - dare I say it might be time to use the old "rotation policy" on Jake's bench spot...

He is the best analyst on that station, and even being a former Bulldog and Dragon, he holds no grudges.
The rest of them I'm not so sure.

Brilliant to see the Parra faithfull clap (many stood up) as Jakob Arthur left the field

He left field of play on the other side of the field and had to walk around half the stadium (Sterlo stand end)

I think Raiders played their Grand Final last week, plus not having a later night game in months didnt help either. But you can only play whats in front of you. They werent Penrith standard, but it was so much better that we mixed it up with our running game and backiline play, rather than bash and barge of last week

Talk about a shot in the arm. Bring on next week already f**king..

Well as soon as Wighton touches the ball he is free to be tackled. He wasnt tackled before touching the ball.

That’s my understanding. He taps the ball forward whether intentionally or not and Mahoney makes a tackle simultaneously. Could not have been a penalty

No surprise he was on top of the referees decision before the referee was. Makes sense of why they used to consult him on the field!!

Maybe we bring Brown in and start him, then off for Matterson after 20mins. Or if coach prefers Maka, then start Maka and bring on Matterson after 20. But Brown or Maka is the replacement for Marata in the middle

It simply must be Nuikore in the centres if Oppa is out. Waqa and Sivo hasn't worked defensively, and Waqa and Penisini have figured the combination out the last few weeks.

Perhaps Simmonson comes onto the bench alongside Jake as cover? Simmonsons could come on and Marata into the middle (or edges) in case of injury. It would be odd carrying 2 backs on the bench, but in a dream world they wouldn't play
