What I will do is keep on watching rugby league, not jump to another code like you lol
If watching ten afl games in my life on tv makes me a swans fan then guilty as charged

I was also dragged along to a preliminary final where they made the grand final and was bored senseless

I lost entire RL competition I followed in 1988.

Not once did I consider following AFL.

That's some weak shit.
It’s ok I’ve forgiven the cowboys for their selfishness in going to super league and betraying the arl after they were in the competition for five minutes

Looks better when the V shape is higher on the chest. The official version is much lower on the front so the KINGS ad can sit evenly on the red. But if the official version had this same front design, it would be better. KINGS can sit on top of the double white V.

What Dolphins have done well is the fan engagement. The 'phins up', the silly dolphins hat, it's corny but its fun. Believe it or not, that's what people want when they shell out moolah to go to the footy.

They want to be entertained, they want to have a bit of fun. Of course it also helps if the team is winning.

One thing is very obvious about the dolphins over the last expansion club the titans. The dolphins have comecin as a club who know they're on a journey to become successful both on and off the field. The titans under snake oil Searle came into the comp expecting everyone to bow to them as a glamour club from the glamour strip, a franchise rather than a club.

Titans issues

1. Gfc caused collapse of the centre of excellence

2. massive rent of 3 million pa meant overpriced tickets

3. Afl throwing the kitchen sink at the suns

titans have everything to be a big rugby league club

they tried to use the dolphins name and redcliffe said no

plus the dolphins are an established club that helps with their transition into the nrl

Bought another Dolphins jersey, the home one. But the supporters jersey, no advertising on it (so much nicer when they're clean of ads). Should arrive by mail in another week.
It’s great when they do a sponsor free one. I never buy a Storm jersey because I don’t want to look like a walking billboard! My early heritage one with no sponsors is only one I wear. Even the polos have become like f1 merch.

Titans were very successful for first three years avg 21k fans, shame they couldn’t keep that momentum. Let’s see if dolphins can maintain it better than titans did. Their memberships have jumped nicely so hopefully that helps long term.

In comparison to Sydney teams, the Titans crowds are above average.

And considering how poor they have been, they are very decent

Yep, massive then :)
fancy switching to afl because your team merged. No wonder swans attendance jumped if RL fans are as weak gutted as you in Sydney lol
How’s someone going to realise they don’t like a sport before they watch it

in 97 I didn’t hate afl anyways

it wasn’t till they put in gws and using folau to try and take over the west the hatred set in

back in the 90s we would just joke about afl eg aerial ping pong or similar
