Personally I hate the Roosters like poison
Never stop when on a roll! It seems you are still repressing feelings - speak up, let it all out, it's therapy!

Imagine Star wars without Darth Vader and the Empire?
The Transformers with the Decepticons?

You'll be surprised how many other clubs are aware of the dodgy dealings being dealt by the roosters.
Don't worry, the roosters "fall from grace" will come. And if you thought the Bulldogs 2002 scandal was bad..........

You're a fraud... Dismissed.

Mate, you don't know who I know............
Why don't you go out to the streets of Bondi and collect donations for the $200000 "save the roosters" fund?
Then again, you might need a LOT MORE than $200000

I think they have a fairly small percentage of knowlegable and committed fans. The rest are going to be there while they are winning but most of them will turn fickle when the bubble finally bursts.
Similar to Swans fans.

I think you are spot on there. I don't see how any club would be stupid enough to cheat the cap when there are perfectly legal ways to get around it ala Andrew Johns. Whatever you think about the Roosters Politis is a very successful businessman and he has obviously used his skills well at the Roosters. I think when people see how litlle Chris Walker signed for the Roosters for they automatically beleive there must be under the table payments also. But no one seems to consider that most footballers aren't the smartest of people and Chris Walker would have to be the dumbest of the lot. I think the majority of people would have played in a loosing team and taken South's money but Chris has some identity crisis in that he must play for a winning team to feel good about himself. Most footballers like everyone else want to be successful and achieve and players like Monaghan and Walker are happy to play for the Roosters on smaller salaries to achieve this. Having the NSW coach in your team would also be a factor because the coach usually gets the team he wants and all footballers aspire to play SOO. The Roosters are probably the richest club in the league and this has to be due to their Administration.
I don't even think their playing Roster is as good as everyone makes out. I think individually they only have one or 2 players who you would consider to be the best of the best, Fitzbgibbon for example. But they are very well coached and well drilled. I don't think much of Phil Gould as a commentator but as a coach his record speaks for itself. And Ricky has obviously learnt alot from him.
I don't like the Roosters as much as anyone but they miust be doing something right. So I don't see the reason to constantly bag them.
I wouldnt talk if I was a Penny fan. The shit is piling up and WILL hit you in the mouth. Penrith arent exactly out of the microscope's view at the moment, nor should they be.The Mighty Panther said:McSharkie said:Personally I think the Roosters are the most professionally run club in the comp.
