What if Jarryd Hayne doesn't make the 49ers cut? Will he return to the NRL?

How does the draw work?

The 49s play their own division both home and away Cardinals, Seahawks, Rams(6 x NFC West)
They play all of the NFC North, Packers, Lions, Vikings, Bears (4 x NFC North)
They play all of the AFC North Bengals, Steelers, Browns, Ravens (4 x AFC North)
They play Falcons (1 x NFC South)
They play Giants (1 x NFC East)
They play zero teams from AFC East, AFC West, AFC South

Teams the 49s will not play
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Buffalo Bills
Miami Dolphins
Indianapolis Colts
Jacksonville Jaguars
Houston Texans
Tennessee Titans
Denver Broncos
Oakland Raiders
Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego Chargers
Dallas Cowboys
Washington Redskins
Philadelphia Eagles
Carolina Panthers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
New Orleans Saints

Angry I think it works like this and I'm Happy to be corrected, but I'm pretty sure you always play your own division home and away. After that the league and the club decide who they will play. Based on rivalry and crowd drawing ability.

Just on that

I checked the Rams, Cardinals and Seahawks

They are the same
6 x NFC West
4 x NFC North
4 x AFC North
1 x NFC South We all play o different one
1 x NFC East We all play a different one
0 x AFC East. West, South

Am Guessing they change the NFC North and AFC North each year.

You play your own division home and away (6 games) and then you play a division from both the NFC and AFC (8 games..these rotate every year) then the other 2 games are teams from your conference (NFC) who finished in the same spot in their division that you did last year (Falcons and Giants).

Draw has nothing to do with which teams are near you

They are in SF not Tijuana. 737km direct or 807 by car..

The NFL schedule games like this

Home and away against division 6 games. NFC west

4 teams from another division within its conference. Rotating 3 year cycle. NFC north this year

4 teams from another division in the other conference. Rotating 4 year cycle. AFC north this year

2 games against other teams from their own conference based on results. If they are not drawn to play above. If you won your division u play 2 other division winners. If you are 2 in your division you play 2 other 2s. Etc. Green Bay and NY Giants this year

Figured out all but the last bit, makes sense.

Thanks.

What am I not getting here? I saw that run by the Plane this morning aided by his 'blockers'. I have seen East's Roger the Master Chef do 8 of those per match with no blockers.

You're not getting that Hayne's 37 yard gain was the 49ers highest gain from a punt returner since 2013,not bad for a guy that started playing American Football 2 mins ago.

Yeah this is correct. The only change to this is certain teams would have to go to the West Coast twice a year, which they avoid, so they change the draw a little bit for the matches where you play the team that finished the same place in their division the previous year.

It's not a punt returner the 49ers need it's a new coach. Maybe some like Geoff 'Tooves' Toovey, the' bellyache' Bellamy or Paul 'Mary' McGregor. Somehow I think they would like our coaches.
