My most unpopular opinion is that Super League is a better competition than the NRL. It has been recently proven by Wigan thumping Cronulla and Warrington thumping Brisbane. It should be noted that Warrington is not this year a top Super League club -- it is running 9th at this moment. So this means that the 9th ranked club in Super League is better than the 3rd ranked club in the NRL. That's pretty conclusive evidence that Super League is a higher standard than the NRL. But nobody wants to face the inconvenient facts.
I get the feeling you've never actually watched games of Rugby League
You have managed to ignore the fact that the English competition starts before the NRL competition
So for Australian teams they're in pre-season mode and the World Club Challenge is their first hit out of the year and treated by Australian clubs as a trial game whereas for the English clubs it's the be all and end all
You ignore the effects travelling has on the body - all the Australian players are jet lagged during games
Not sure if you've ever experienced the jet lag you get travelling between Australia and the UK - it takes 10 days to get over.
In England, in February it's cold. Freezing f**king cold. In Australia in February, its errr shit and the opposite of cold. Going from 35 degrees to minus 2 is a challenge. If an English player had to travel to Australia to play in temperatures above 25 degress (which it would be even at 9pm) they'd manage 25 minutes, curl up in a ball and start crying for their mummies. Remember what happened to Wigan when they tried it?
Using the World Club Challenge to compare the two leagues is like looking at a Morgan and a Trabant and claiming British cars are better than German ones
Unless, you were being satirical - in which case, well played sir
