What is your most unpopular opinion about the NRL?

Typical that it was posted and liked by a Broncos fan. If you don't like our game why don't you and your club piss off and play in the BRL. What makes you think that your club is more entitled to be in the comp than the others just because your club's owner already tried once to ruin our game.
Yeah right, and youd lose half the tv deal in one foul swoop. Good idea einstein.

Yes mate lets go back to the 80s that is an even better suggestion than your original one of crippling the game by taking out the biggest draw.

You must be a Broncos fan because you think the game would die without the Broncos smh. There's a whole world outside of Broncos HQ, maybe you should pop your head out sometime and realise the sky won't fall in on you.

Lol.

I'm not a broncos supporter but if you have difficulty seeing that brisbane are one of the powerhouse clubs in terms of money, influence, ratings and so on... i cant help you.

Not true

Stupid league lost..
Haha that may be true but we both know the hypothetical of kicking brisbane out would be wonderful for all of 5mins before there would be massive financial ramifications.

I'm only commenting on that, dont necessarily agree with kicking out clubs.

The purpose of the salary cap (if there must be one) is to stop clubs overspending and going broke NOT to "even the competition".
Clubs should be encouraged to source third party agreements to attract players to their clubs. What kind of organisation limits investment in its own game.

I'm not denying they are a powerhouse club. I just think it's strange that you would jump to the defence of a club and their supporters who would gladly watch your club die for their own benefit.

Nah i just think its a silly argument, cut your nose off to spite your face type of thing. I dont support forced relocations or mergers.

My most unpopular opinion is that Super League is a better competition than the NRL. It has been recently proven by Wigan thumping Cronulla and Warrington thumping Brisbane. It should be noted that Warrington is not this year a top Super League club -- it is running 9th at this moment. So this means that the 9th ranked club in Super League is better than the 3rd ranked club in the NRL. That's pretty conclusive evidence that Super League is a higher standard than the NRL. But nobody wants to face the inconvenient facts.

I get the feeling you've never actually watched games of Rugby League

You have managed to ignore the fact that the English competition starts before the NRL competition
So for Australian teams they're in pre-season mode and the World Club Challenge is their first hit out of the year and treated by Australian clubs as a trial game whereas for the English clubs it's the be all and end all

You ignore the effects travelling has on the body - all the Australian players are jet lagged during games
Not sure if you've ever experienced the jet lag you get travelling between Australia and the UK - it takes 10 days to get over.

In England, in February it's cold. Freezing f**king cold. In Australia in February, its errr shit and the opposite of cold. Going from 35 degrees to minus 2 is a challenge. If an English player had to travel to Australia to play in temperatures above 25 degress (which it would be even at 9pm) they'd manage 25 minutes, curl up in a ball and start crying for their mummies. Remember what happened to Wigan when they tried it?

Using the World Club Challenge to compare the two leagues is like looking at a Morgan and a Trabant and claiming British cars are better than German ones

Unless, you were being satirical - in which case, well played sir
