i got sucked into watching marley and me last night

big chick flick but its actually done in a decent way. first half hour you think its the crapest movie of all time but it gets better. some interesting themes are subtlely brought in as the movie goes on but are not judged, its interesting. maybe one for dvd if you aren't a complete hard arse

Finally got around to watching "The Dark Knight". I can now understand all the hype about Heath Ledger's performance in terms of Oscar calculations, he was brilliant. If it wasn't for him, I think the movie would have been rather crappy.

Revolver - Guy Ritchie directed film with Jason Stantham. I thought it was brillant, but I can understand why people would not like it.

altho lock stock was great.

Stantham was ok, but the movie focusses on Kabbalah which is not a concept easily grasped unless you have prior knowledge of it before you watch the movie.

i think it was the storylines that they touched on subtlely but didn't throw in your face that made it good. very unamerican in some senses. like owen wilsons author mate that he always runs into throughout the movie. you could read a lot into that and provided a good contrast to what owen did throughout the movie

Awesome film, I never went much on DiCaprio but his performance in this movie was impressive.

Saw it last night with the Leader of the Opposition. I got my pup from a refuge when he was 3 weeks old (back in 95) and we have seen him slow down at times over the past few years so some parts of the movie seemed to be almost "real".
Probably the only way the movie let itself down was through the lack of physical aging by the main human characters in comparison to the Kids and Marley....
Although I do not mind that Aniston looked good throughout....
