So it is absolutely refreshing watching asian cinema at the moment, especially how they accentuate the grey shade instead of the endless black and white boo the baddy vs yeah the goody hollywood crap.

asian cinema has always been a cut above hollywood especially if it's cop movies you're into

Watched "Yes Man" the other night. Fairly similar to "Liar Liar" but still reasonably funny. For a mass produced hollywood feel good comedy it wasn't too bad. I got a few good laughs out of it.

When was it made?

Has nothing to do with the Resident Evil live action movies.

CG motion picture. Features Leon and Claire from the RE2 game. Takes place after RE4.

If you haven't played the game the movie won't mean much. It's pretty average. The mouths didn't even match the words (it wasn't dubbed). Lower quality animation than what you'd get from a propper studio.
