Death Racers - One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Right up there with RPM and The Yards. Only reason why I wanted to see it in the first place was it had wrestling's Raven in it. Surprisingly, he wasn't the worst actor in it.

Burn After Reading - Pretty poor also considering the cast

Burn After Reading was great, perhaps my fave movie of 2008, Brad Pitt was awesome.. just watched Slumdog Millionaire and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in the last few days, good films but neither of them really outstanding. If only There Will Be Blood had been released a year later.

Watched "Burn After Reading" on DVD yesterday. Typical Coen Brothers effort but very good. Pitt was excellent as were George Clooney, Frances McDormand and John Malkovitch. The guy playing the CIA chief had some great lines too. Very cleverly done, although I'm not sure about Clooney's bit of home handyman work.

Wasnt a great movie but I could relate to parts of it.(my era).
Didnt mind the soundtrack but dont think its available as an album anyway.

Alvin Purple & AlvinPurple Rides Again: I freely admit they aren't BRILLANT movies but they are classic 70s comedy with a distinct Aussie spin. The second was a cash-in I think but the first was worth a giggle. Hard to imagine it playing in cinemas today like it did in 73!

Fans of the game will hate it, anyone else capable of watching it with an open mind won't mind it. Poorly cast, Marky Mark is a one dimensional actor.

The movie came across as a poor man's Sin City.

Just seeing the poster told me that. Also in this category: The Spirit.

tbh That whole genre was played out by the time the credits rolled in Sin City.

Watched "Semi-Pro" starring Will Ferrell, Andre 3000 & Woody Harrelson the other night. Pretty funny IMO. But then again Will Ferrell very rarely lets me down...
