I loved it in the 80s .
Then when I watched about 2 years ago .
Lol what an ordinary movie .
Prob the 2 movies from that era that I could rewatch over are
Porkies ..lol a classic .the Lassie gym scene is my fave .
& the Wanderers .
LOL the Baldies, starring Bea Arthur and Mary MacGregor.

"LEAVE THE KID ALONE" Great movie an all time classic.

Silence! Silence! The worst movie released in 2020 is definitely "The Fanatic" with John Travolta. I am a big Travolta fan, but his performance as an autistic psycho was f**king woeful. The script matched his level of performance. I turned it off at around the hour mark. Terrible!!!

Have you seen it? Absolute crap.....Travolts last movie so far. I hope he makes a classic to rub that rubbish out of my head.
It was easily the worst movie i have seen the last couple of years, i tried to at least get a laugh but it was so so sad i couldn't. Pulp Fiction was such a long time ago for him.

I tried to do the same but Travolta's acting was that tragic that I couldn't. Frankly insulting to the autistic community. Worst of 2020 easily.....possibly longer as well. People should not even see it for curiousity value.

Visitors from the Arkana Galaxy

Also just known as Visitors From the Galaxy, was a staple on SBS back in the 80's, a quirky story about a science fiction writer who creates characters from a far away galaxy and they actually come to life and reek havoc, absolutely hilarious in parts. Found a version on you tube so watched it again after 30 odd years, gave me a good laugh again.

It's hardly edgelord territory to not have an irrational hard on for a very mediocre SciFi movie.
It's very edgelord to have a go at both two of the biggest, most beloved movies of all time, and have a go at the most respected modern critic at the same time.:D

Star Wars 1977 and The Empire Strikes Back are good films and don't deserve to be thrown in with what came after. What's easiest for merchandise took over by Return of the Jedi which is a real shame watching with adult eyes.

Universal Soldier - Day of Reckoning

I have only previously seen the original which was a long time ago. I think there are a bunch of crappy sequels that I never bothered with. This one was made in 2012 and has Van Damme and Dolph Lungren back although in more minor roles (they are the bad guys this time). It's trippy as f**k and the violence is insanely brutal. I have no doubt the John Wick series was inspired by this movie. The choreography is some of the best I've seen. It's worth watching if you like violent action films.
