So, it was actually a lot better than the busy trailer made it out to be, at the same time I still wish I never saw the trailer for obvious reasons.

Some cool throwbacks to the first two movies in particular, some good action and some cheesiness (though not T3 silly glasses levels).
I quite like the new Sarah Connor, a mix of sassy, kickass and awwww all in one little bundle.

Final verdict, better than T3 & Salvation but still can't hold a candle to the first two.

I just saw a new release B list movie called "The Loft". It is about five mates who buy a secret apartment where they can take their flings to. Problem is, a lady is found dead and the movie takes the viewer through twists and turns to find out who is responsible.
It has no name actors which in this case is to the movies benefit. Well acted great movie. I fear that B movies like it (where you find gems from time to time) will get lost in this movie kiosk idea.

Just came back from watching Terminator Genisys. I don't know exactly what they were going for with this movie, but I'm pretty sure it missed.

A movie trying to outsmart itself in order not to rehash previous plots.

(also, is it too much to ask for Terminator movies to take on a more serious tone? Like in the first and second movie? Please. It gives it more credibility)

I checked out the Entourage movie this arvo.
Pretty much a movie-length episode of the show. I was a big fan of the TV series, so I enjoyed it.
Nothing in it blew me away, but it was a decent time at the movies on a Saturday afternoon.

I felt the same way. If you can read Ari Gold's fictional book it is well worth it too! Its basically all the jokes, insults, acting out and one liners that didn't make it in to the show. Hilarious. I smashed it out in an evening.

He has only his limited recycled shtick which is actually pretty funny in those 1% of movies which give him a character and script to work with.

The problem is that almost everything he stars in sucks, apparently he as a person is completely aware of it and is just in it for the money.
