Trainwreck- I still don't see what the fuss about Amy Schumer is to be honest.

Watched the first 30 mins - i just don't find (so-called) comedy about being a s**tty whore that appealling, and also seeing John Cena's ass was just too much.

Watched a bunch of movies on flights recently.

- Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation - 7.5/10. Not as good as Ghost Protocol, but still pretty bad-ass.

- The Man from UNCLE - 7/10. Really dug this one. Love the Cold War Era.

- The Bridge of Spies - 7/10. A little slow, but an interesting tale well told.

- Man Up - 6/10. Quirky British rom-com. Girl is hot. Movie is a bit directionless.

- Vacation - 6/10. Funny enough, but not a patch on the films that inspired it.

Ant Man - one of the better marvel movies. Can see them milking this franchise for everything. Also with all the avengers references and what was said at the end you can guarantee antman will be in the next avengers movie.

I don't sh*t on Adam Sandler movies as much as most, but The Ridiculous Six is the biggest load of rubbish he's done. Watched about half of it and couldn't stands no more.

Watched Pixels at a mates place, wasn't expecting much but it was better then i thought. More to do with the nostalgia of all the games of my youth then the movie itself probably.

Me too. Wasn't entirely sure I'd like it but found it quite enjoyable.

I think anyone who loved arcades in the 80s would have loved this. I know I did! Loved when the mothership arrives and started picking all the classic characters that were f**king shit up!

I also watched Goonies again for the millionth time last night. That shit never gets old!

It certainly appears that way.

From what I understand, the Avengers references were shoe-horned in at the producer's request. The original director, Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim etc.) disagreed with the decision and quit part-way through production. Fans of Wright will notice his fingerprints through out the movie, especially when it comes to the editing which is tight and creative as you'd expect from him. It's Wright's involvement that gives the movie it's edge.

Watched the whole Saw series from 1 to 3D over the past few weeks.

They went from mediocre to plain outright rubbish over seven movies.

Over the top gore with each movie seeming like a remake of the previous one with an increasing amount of flashbacks from past episodes.

*SPOILER ALERT*

How a person who is terminally ill with brain cancer produce a whole factory full of intricate torture devices is beyond me.

Oh wait....it's Hollywood.

I haven't seen these in years so forgive me if i'm wrong. Wasn't the old guy the brains of the operation while the reformed drug addict woman set up the traps/situations for him?

Everytime it's back on i can't help watching it. Showed it too my nephew a few months ago and he absolutely loved it. Think Sleth scared him a bit though

Wolf Creek 2

I didn't think anything could top the shittiness of the first, but they did it.

I didn't mind the first one... but Wolf Creek 2 went full genius... Pretty much from the opening scene where he gets pulled over by the cops and then ends up going after them and disposing of them, I thought to myself... well this is just going gore for the sake of gore...

I watched the doco Blackfish again over the weekend. Those of you with Netflix and haven't seen it, I recommend it.

I still remember sitting down with a friend of mine to show her 5 year old son Goonies many years ago... he turned 18 last week. Time flies.

Tbh the first one was also gore for the sake of gore.

Both are awful films.
