Terminator 5....f**k me, what a disgraceful attempt at making a movie. First two are absolute classics, third was barely a pass mark, 4th a fail. However, this movie makes part 4 look like "Citizen Kane". Absolute mess.

Hell yeah, god damn what a bad movie. It wasn't even "so bad it's good", it was just outright terrible and a huge slap to it's rich legacy. I actually almost turned off the third act because I couldn't bear it, and I'm one to see a movie off no matter how bad.

Any 10 minute segment alone has enough plot holes and horrible writing to out-gun all of Salvation.

It is really sad how many scenes were complete copies, no imagination at all

yep, it was literally a carbon copy of the first movie as far as the plot goes. f**k even the president from the original gave an 'inspirational' speech again, but it was f**king terrible lol.

Watched X-Men apocalypse last night.

It wasnt too bad. Its good to see that the focus wasnt on Wolverine like every other movie.

Can see the next few x-men movies focussing on Jean and the Phoenix Saga. I remember the phoenix saga as a kid watching the cartoons, it seemed to draw out for months.

The 5th Wave - Started out interesting then it turned into one of those teenager movies (think twilight, hunger games, divergent series) so yeah, 5/10.

The Magnificent Seven. Haven't seen Seven Samurai but this film has nothing on the original Magnificent Seven but what re-make could? Still, Much better than expected. Didn't really explain the motivation of the characters other than Denzel.

Original Magnificent Seven 9.5/10
New M7 7/10

I'm looking forward to watching it. I've probably watched every movie that Denzel is in.

Watched the good neighbour. Don't watch. Boring as all well.

Started range 15. Looks good. B grade comedy horror. Thought I'd park it till I had a few drinks in me and some mates around. Was a good laugh. Will update e after I've watched more than 20mins.

Back into sci fi mode at the moment.

Sunshine - about an expedition to save a dying sun and it all goes pear shaped - 7/10

Source Code - about a soldier who is given a mission to stop terrorist attacks but relives the same 8 minutes over and over again until he succeeds - 6/10

Pitch Black - about a passenger transport starship that gets holed in a meteor storm and crashes onto a desert planet only to confront some nasty little critters - 7.5/10

Just watched Tim Burtons "The night before Christmas" for the first time since 1994. The cinematography and plot depth reminder me of how far ahead of its time it really was.

How I watched this as a kid I'll never know.

Watched Moneyball just seemed appropriate today.

Flannoball might beat the lot.
