I'm too much of an old-school game lover to want a new-style remake of my favourite-of-all-time games. I'd love to be able to play them all again on my current computer/s. I downloaded something a few years ago called 'DosBox' which allows this for a fair few old games (Indy500, 4D Boxing, ect). I'd love to be able to play ET's Rugby League, ARL'96, and others already mentioned. One Must Fall 2096 would be a game that could translate very well into 2012 style games.

I'd forgotten about Road Rash! My favourite move was where you and an opponant are side-by-side racing up the city streets. You're both lashing out, but barely hitting eachother, then you kick him hard sideways and it happens to be when there was a gap in between buildings. Crash! One second they're speeding along all cocky-like, the next, BAM!

I wanna go play it now...

Road Rash was one of the best motorbike games I ever played. I remember once, I had a slow start to it, then finally picked up the pace, but I was still coming last. Then all of a sudden, I saw a plow coming along in the opposite direction... dragging ALL the other racers with it    I instantly went from coming last to first. Needless to say I haven't seen anything like that since... and we're talking a good 15 years ago!

None. Would ruin them. Kinda of like when they made Monkey island into a Playstation 3D game with voice actors.

I still enjoy the newer versions of Monkey Island (there was a new one out last year I think it was ... I discovered it early this year), but yeah, the old-school ones (1 and 2) were more enjoyable long-term in my eyes. I would be more likely to re-play those ones tomorrow in preference to the more cartoony ones. I think I like the fact that those first few ones allowed you to look, see, touch, speak, use, ect, everything in the game, whereas the more recent ones it's more a case of using one object with another. Stan loses something in the more recent games too, however it's amusing that they kept his flailing arm movements and hypercolour suits in there!

The Secret of Monkey Island and Le Chucks Revenge are my two favourite computer games of all time probably. Played #1 earlier this year and it is still boss. I actually had forgotten some of the stuff you have to do and its actually quite challenging. Some of the characters are absolutly classic as well. Played the first game where they made the change in animation etc and got about half way through before I was bored of it. Just not the same.

I remember Scorched Earth was a top game back on Windows 3.11 - DOS days. It was a simple, yet addictive game. Then they remade it in 3D and had fail written all over it!

Oh hell no please tell me that is NOT happening

Sorry. Poor choice of words. What I meant is that it get's upgraded graphics but keeping the things that made it great like storyline and interesting characters.

Wish that it would happen so I can play the whole series on PS3 console since I got the original game and an exp. pack but it was buggy as heck and I could not play it on my laptop.

Also, Alley-cat but with with the simple game mechanics but maybe more mini games and updated graphics.
