Don’t worry the wa government will get it repainted at a cost of 30 millionThe Shed End of the ground looks like something from the 1930's.
Correct but they won't be getting a license on the basis that eventually theyll be successful, PVL rules the game, and keeping him keen on expansion regardless of where it is, is a win for everyone in RL, for me having Norths back is some sort of way can lead to more sydney/brissy based clubs spread out elsewhere, nrl want clubs who are already established promoted, rather than start ups in a specific location, ala redcliffe, easts, northsOkay, but that’s totally irrelevant to the point I was making…
Those benefits can be achieved simply by affiliating with a lower tier team for development purposes.
As an added benefit such an affiliation wouldn’t require them to sell their soul to a borderline irrelevant club from Sydney, whom have their own agenda and will put themselves before the best interests of Perth and the sport as a whole, either.
Admittedly it hasn’t got grass hills like other Rl stadiums lolWell done you picked a photo of only the good bits of the ground.
i like the shed end, something unique in an Australian stadium. Personally I’d keep it and fully extended terracing right along the back and a new roof over it. Boost capacity for not much cost and gives the older poms a sense of home for sports played there. We’d still have 20k plus seats when west stand was done.Don’t

I’m guessing that’s a standing terrace ?i like the shed end, something unique in an Australian stadium. There’s a big difference between standing on terracing with a roof and standing on a grass hill. Didn’t they build an adaptable terrace option into commbank stadium for soccer fans?I’m guessing that’s a standing terrace ?
and your bagging hills In Sydney ? Lmao

like is said terracing is very different to a grass hill, especially in inclement weather. The fact they incorporated one into a state of the art new stadium proves such. Standing isnt a problem whenThe
They did
but justifying a standing terrace is hypocritical
everyone has their biases i guess
It’s weird. Soccer fans here are trying to copy Englandlike is said terracing is very different to a grass hill, especially in inclement weather. The fact they incorporated one into a state of the art new stadium proves such. Standing isnt a problem when
1. It is undercover and 2. It only makes up a small part of your capacity.
They want to recreate the amazing atmosphere of English sport. It’s weird. Soccer fans here are trying to copy England

Pity you don't go back there instead of being a total knobhead about the game in this country. You’ve been “on“ a terrace lol. Usually a good atmosphere at headingly. I miss the east stand at craven park.
So does North Sydney Oval. The Shed End of the ground looks like something from the 1930's.
So does North Sydney Oval.
I agree with this but can’t honestly see it unless some current NRL teams are either relocated, merged or kicked out as I don’t see how a 20+ team competition can or could work unless you introduce conferences.I'm embarrassed to say I was once narrow-minded enough to not see the value in Adelaide and Perth. Hopefully we can get a team in each city within the next 20 years. Our game would be foolish to not bring in the Pirates.
I agree but I’m biased being a norths fan.North Sydney Oval is beautiful venue
I agree but I’m biased being a norths fan.
Needs a lot of work doing on it though.
