When do we call time?

I don’t disagree with this and our office needs as much attention as anything. However, I think our chances of success are equally poor if we do sort out that side of things with BA still as coach. I genuinely think he has lost the trust of the dressing room...not so much their loyalty, moreso their belief that he has the capability of providing a successful game plan.

We need a complete overhaul from the front office to the coaching staff and playing roster. By limiting changes to only 1 or 2 of those things then I can’t see us significantly improving.
Get the office set, then there is someone there that BA is genuinely answerable to. At the moment it seems as though BA is answerable straight to Max/board, and they aren't going to be there everyday gathering info. Needs to be a chain of reporting, players to coaches, assistant coaches to BA, BA to HOF, BA & HOF to CEO and then back the other way, and that's just for the playing group. Everything at the club at the moment is clunking along as poorly organised/led as the team. I sadly get the feeling that the stadium opening will be a big miss (although I suspect we will also be let down by NRL there)

Robinson won three Minor Premierships, one Premiership before that and one Minor Premiership and a Top 4 finish since. BA has made the Top 4 once and never won a finals game that entire time. To compare the two is ludicrous.

Yep, we are the best at keeping that cycle going.

I don’t know how it could be done but it seems like they need to clean out anyone who has ever had anything to do with the club and start with a complete clean slate, basically a brand new club.

We finally seemed to get sanity in when Max came in and then Bernie but then the focus became so much about saving money that we get to 2018 and we reduced the resources in key areas and that completely f**ked us!

There are still people at the club that have ties to the previous regimes and they are all hell bent on f**king the club over when the chance arises!
100% correct
When the factionalism and self interest are eradicated from the club it can only then move forward on all fronts
The introduction of Max was a very positive move in that direction, although the penny pinching has def hurt us big time in 18

Here’s how I see it. I don’t know shit about Rugby League but I know a lot about business strategy.

If you want to transform an organisation you need to understand what is material to the function and performance of that organisation.

The issues that are most material and the measures to correct those issues then get priority.

If you were to work your way through Parramatta I think you would quickly get to the front of house being the biggest risk and impediment.

If you undertook a cost benefit analysis on changing our coach I think you would work out that a new coach is unlikely to have a lot of success in 2019 until we have the proper structures and accountabilities in place. If success happens it’s probably short lived and without a strong grounding.

If the review is serious front of house should be the focus. Get that right and see what it does to the performance of the team. If the team is still struggling in 2019 then by all means change coach for 2020 but at least when you go to the market you can present yourself as a credible, well run organisation and improve your chances of getting a quality coach.

That said, the easiest thing to do is change the coach and remain a poorly run club. Its the solution that dumb fans and shit administrators immediately jump to.

On NRL360 tonight they said the Cronulla board are split on whether to give Flanno another contract.

I would of thought a premiership winning coach would get a new contract easy unless he wants a lot more cash this time around. No idea.

Nobody left to take over. Do we give him until mid year and then go for someone like Holbrook with Potter as the caretaker assuming BA is not re-signed?

Wooden spoon team doesn't believe they need to change their coach, yet all the other under performing teams have already replaced theirs and planning ahead.

Go parra. ..... f**king losers..From the top management ... to its supporters

I predict we will be going well enough by mid season that BA will get re-signed. Lack of decent alternatives will probably also be in BA’s favour.

El D and Hiney will shit their pants in anger when it happens.

What do you consider well enough?

I don’t have set criteria as it is not my decision to make.

I’m simply predicting that those making the decision will believe he has done enough.

Not signing some of the big names that were recently on the market suggests that barring a disaster season next year, BA will stay on beyond 2019.

I don’t agree with this. Just stating what I think will now happen.

Im sure Trent Barrett will interview well. Didnt Gus recommend him to Manly?
What are the odds of Cleary lasting 5 years? Ciraldo is another Gus has lied too. Im sure he will be excited about waiting 5 years for another crack. Maybe that should be our plan. Offer Ciraldo a "nudge, nudge wink, wink" support role and get him to drag a few of the Penny juniors accross.

Looks like we have missed the boat as usual.

If they are only going to give BA 10 weeks next year to save his job. They would have been better off punting him a month ago instead of wasting another season.

What quality coaches are out there now after the tigers signed madge.

Flanagan atm seems the only option.
Though there is good reports on Adam O'Brien the new roosters assistant being a good coach.

Suprised BA didn't bring him to parra considering he got him the job in Melbourne.
