Anyone who has done a bit of boxing will know that the jaw is a weak spot. If you look at his eyes glaze over in the front on shot, I would say it's pretty obvious he copped a good one. I'd say he was shaken up by the hit.

Oh man. Funny, a few seconds later when the penalty was confirmed he was quite happy to have people hugging him and giving him a pat.

If Luke doesn't dive. The penalty isn't awarded. You see 2-3 of those a week missed yet in extra time a player stays down the video ref gets involved.

If it was the 79th minute in the GF (its 12 all) and one of our players was hit high exactly the same way Luke was would you object to him staying down ?

Bearing in mind you have no idea if that players is hurt or not, unless you are a Dr, who just so happens to specialise in head trauma.

For the record, its a penalty every day of the week if the ref blows it. He took a huge dive and its definitely not worthy of being put on report, hence shouldn't have been a penalty from the video ref.
