Are you saying I should be supporting either the Browns or the Rockets just because they are in the same city as the other team?

I dont live in the U.S, a teams geographic location really has nothing to do with why I support them.

1946–1949: Founding in the AAFC
The Cleveland Browns were founded in 1946 as a charter member of the All-America Football Conference, under businessman Arthur B "Mickey" McBride.[3] Not long after gaining the franchise, McBride named Ohio State Buckeyes coach Paul Brown as vice president, general manager and head coach. The franchise conducted a team naming contest in 1945. The most popular submission was "Browns" in recognition of Paul Brown, already an established and popular figure in Ohio sports. Brown at first objected to the name and the team selected from the contest entries the name "Panthers." However, after an area businessman informed the team that he owned the rights to the name Cleveland Panthers from an earlier failed football team, Brown rescinded his objection and agreed to the use of his name.[4]

The Brown Bomber story was because Joe Lewis, a popular boxer of the time had that nickname, so the club almost took on that name but just kept it as Browns after the coach.

Cinci, like Cleveland, is in Ohio. I imagine it was named because of what Paul Brown means to football in Ohio.

When the Cleveland Browns first started, Paul Brown was the Vice President, General Manager and Head Coach. He was already a popular person in Ohio Sport from being the coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes. To name the team they had a name the team poll in a local paper and the most popular submission was the Browns. Paul Brown didn't like it and chose the Panthers, but another businessman already owned the rights to the Cleveland Panthers, so they went back to being called the Browns.

Eventually Paul Brown had a falling out with new Browns owner Art Modell. Paul Brown was fired, but was still on the pay roll as his contract was still valid and he still owned a portion of the Browns. About 5 years later after his contract ran out, Paul Brown started the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are still owned by the Brown family and they named their stadium in tribute to Paul Brown.
