Bit hard, Douglas is only 25 and his better years as a prop are still to come. Usually peak at later stages of their careers.

Hegarty could finish alright for the roosters. Hannay was a strange one he seemed to have good matches then just disappear for weeks. Hegarty for me.

Mark Gasnier or Steve Renouf
Might have a few that disagree but I think Gasnier at his peak would rip Pearl a new one. Gasnier could create and set up well and would often need 3/4 defenders on him. Pearl was great but benefitted alot from his great halves inside him. Plus he was pretty ordinary at origin level.

The Pearl. Although it must be said they are similar type running players, Renouf's speed off the mark, swerve/fend and hole running eclipses the code-betraying toey human.

Pearce. I felt Taylor for all his attributes had big liabilities. Mitchell is overrated but a more complete player imo and his best is yet to come.

Karmichael Hunt or David Peachey.

The Peach. Karmichael wasn't a dangerous weapon except in his rookie season but was as safe a fullback as they come. But Peachey was a dead set menace every time he touched the pill and defensively he was rock solid as well.

Luke O'Donnell or Jeremy Smith?

Peach or Hunt? - Karmichael. Peach was such an enigma, he was capable of things that no other player in the code could imitate but by the same token he was prone to making silly game breaking errors which rightfully count against him in the rep. arena.

On the other hand Karmichael was the ultimate team player, capable of coming up with the big players and ridiculously safe.

Simpson or Fletcher - Fletcher. Oh, another tough one. Simpson ended up having a longer career than Bryan but I thought Fletcher really got to ride his peak longer, where as Simpson was robbed of his. Also, I think Fletcher stood out more as a player. Especially at the Roosters where Fitzy and Ricko would do the bulk of the defensive work allowing Fletch to cause havoc on the edges. But that's a really tough one - throwing Andrew Ryan into the mix would make it even tougher.

I'll let people answer RABKs.

Brasher but if this was who i would prefer to watch Mullins would just about beat anyone. Brasher was the better support player though. O'Davis for the second one and based on pure ability Nadruku for third although you could make a case easily for Nagas. Nagas was similar to Peachey in his graceful running style.

Ashley Harrison or Shaun Timmins

I would take Harrison , Timmins knee's gave way too early in his career

Ewan McGrady or Jarryd hayne

If it wasn't for Hayne and his slow play the balls and unnecessary cut out no look passes this would be easy. Still Hayne though.

Best to ask a Balmain fan for a fair and unbiased response.

Rod Wishart or Mick Hancock (overlooking that he kicked everyone)

Wallace. Better kicking game and has proven to play well without Lockyer next to him.

Ben Kennedy or Craig Fitzgibbon.
