Mundine was way better then Campell but people here will say Campell because they hate Mundine and they will use the excuse 'Preston has done it for 45 years" while Mundine didn't play that long even though the question was "Who was better" not "Who played longer"

Langer was consistently great for like 14 years, Stuart i thought tailed off a bit towards the end. So it has to be Langer

Preston Campbell or Anthony Mundine

Preston Campbell.
Mainly because he didn't pout, runaway or chuck a wobbly.
He just keeps perservering (sp?) and rises above all the challenges set before him.

Ian Roberts and Paul Harragon

edited to say
so close Muzby :)
and although I thought Mundine could play, he was never as good as he thought and probably never achieved his potential

Campbell. Never dogged the game of RL nor shirk his task in whatever position he played.
When the going got tough for Mundine, boy could he go missing...
Harragon narrowly over Roberts...

Craig Smith or Jason Smith?

This thread is stupid, people just go against the person they don't like instead of giving there true opinion.

Yeah Peachey was way better. A very decent human being too.
And Hayne isn't? I liked Peachey for the excitement he could bring to a game (kicking the ball back) but Hayne as a footballer on a bad day is lightyears ahead of Peachey at his peak. Gotta pay Muzby's dig at Haynetrain though

Matt Bowen or Rhys Wesser

Bowen by a fair margin, can play the role of the modern fb but is also brilliant in the traditional role of being a support man. Wesser could only perform one of those functions and that is what seperates them

daryl halligan vs luke covell

the challenge of the two blokes who would not have made the grade on their football skills alone..

disagree

Covell had fluke playes in him.

he also had deceptive afterburner speed.

also, covell was much less of a goal kicker, and therefor more expendable.

Luke Covell FTW

I'd plump for Halligan though. Redefined expectations of goalkicking in the modern (i.e. post-Keith Barnes) era.

South Sydney or Parramatta?
