The difference is if Brisbane Tigers don't get in I've still got four Queensland NRL clubs plus the Queensland Cup. If Pirates don't get in then PR has no one.

I'm not fussed about it all. The game is getting bigger every day and expansion is soon to be announced.
If there was no team where I'm living I'd be telling my missus to start packing because we're off to live wherever I can see the tigers play.

Yes. If the Gov is voted out before the deal is signed then we're stuck with Perth getting a licence. We cannot allow that to happen.

the new tv deal isn’t even reflected yet In the financials this is the backended tv deal they did previously

Stadium revenue is included as a consolidated body. The NRL did the same when they owned the Titans and Knights.

To be honest I dont understand this mentality. I think a new team in either area will probably manage to survive. I dont think either is going to be massively successful, but either option will actually grow the game instead of another Queensland team.

Id hope someone is looking at NZ2 in a few years. Thats not just good for the NRL, thats good for the world game. (as is PNG)

Correct, i hope there is a solid plan to go to another 5 locations= Png, Perth, Adelaide, Nz2, Vic2 could become a 22 team comp and really spread out around the Pacific

I think Vic2 shouldnt even be on the radar yet - let the storm grow, the area is hardly a league or union stronghold - and to be honest, Adelaide will probably never get a go.

Having another team in Melbourne in the next decade, doesn't make any sense and would be a low priorty.

Having a Sydney team thats been dead for 25 years move there makes even less sense.

Having one that is a feeder club to the existing Melbourne team, move there is off the charts non-sensical.
