Neil McGuigan's The Shortlist Eden Valley Riesling, 2009.

f**king amazing. Lots of citrus, lots of flint, a little bit of hay on the nose (??) - all round brilliant.

Now into the Dorrien Old Contemptibles Tawny. Cracker night...

Teusner "The Independent" Shiraz Mataro 2010. From 3 vintages ago, already on the downhill, a wine to be drunk young (and very good when done so). Pleasant, but that's about it.

Heirloom McLaren Vale Shiraz - '12. Smooth, great vanilla, jam and rhaspberry qualities. Just felt it was missing something though.
