For mine, you'd use this WNRL as an opportunity to almost start fresh and not over-saturate the comp with Sydney teams. I know in a few years, all NRL clubs will be encouraged to have submitted a WNRL team so we'll be in the same situation as we're in now with the NRL, but to start off with, I'd like to see the comp spread out to look something like this for 2018:
* Newcastle (strong League area, great support, already a few players in the Jillaroos team, North Newcastle having been in the GF)
* NZ Warriors (would have most of the KiwiFerns players available, therefore would be extremely strong)
* Brisbane (strong League area, presumably would have a few Jillaroos players from Qld?)
* Cronulla (famously the first NRL club to sign womens players to contracts)
* Parra or Penrith (western Sydney stronghold for League)
* Melbourne (kind of a 'dot on the map' kinda things, but would provide the Victorians with a better option than womens AFL!)
