You really think any of those teams has a good chance of making it out of the group? Anything can happen and I'll reserve judgement until the groups are known but the AFC/CONCACAF teams are really up against it. African teams are hardly reliable though they could easily implode

I don't think this is true at all. Our 2006 team is shit today and we've been made to look bloody dreadful by Holger's negative football, but I don't think all hope is lost at all.

Costa Rica were away, understrength, and aren't world-beaters - but we were playing a new style with new faces and never looked like losing. Give Ange more time to work out his best squad and the squad more time to gel, and I'll reckon we'll be a top 30 nation again.

True. Alongside Africa's pot, I can't see a tournament winner coming from ours. Actually, they have some South Americans, so they're half a chance.
