Watched England v Brazil and Uruguay v France friendlies in the last few days.

England seemed to be totally outplayed asides from like 10 minutes. Brazil's attack was extremely poor and some of the substitutions were poor. When England changed to 4/4/2 they looked much better, at least for a while.

Uruguay and France was poor all over pretty much, Suarez looked good when he came on. Otherwise don't go out of your way to watch it if you haven't already.

The Argentina v Columbia game was a good watch, a few players should have been sent for what they were doing to the officials, granted the ref was a bit of a tool but still, it shouldn't happen.

Was an interesting reaction after a send off in the other game as well, I think he was a little disappointed

I've seen three reports saying Australia need to beat Iraq to secure qualification. If journos did their job properly it would be nice.

If Oman win, we need to win. So far so good for the journos. But...
If Oman draw, we only need to draw, or avoid defeat by 7 goals.
If Oman lose, semantics.

Beating Jordan in Jordan is no easy task, especially as Jordan still have 3rd place to play for.

I caught the end of that match. Was funny seeing the Iranians celebrate then 5 minutes later the Koreans joining in as well after Uzbekistan's result was confirmed.

I have a soft spot for South Korea (it was my home for 2.5 years) but it would have been nice to see our first debuting nation qualify. Uzbekistan now have it all to do. I can see them beating Jordan or Oman, but they'll struggle against a South American opponent.
