Being a club in the CL seems to be a bit of a clincher these days, for that reason i'd be surprised if you got either of them.

Stranger things have happened though. Spending 70+ mill on Carroll, Downing and Henderson for example.

Joe Allen is a good pick up imo. Will definitely help with the way you guys are planning on playing this year. 15m is a bit much but i'm guessing they were playing hardball.
