But he did say make sure your name isn't in the envelope or something along those lines so perhaps we wern't shown a bit of it..

if not, it's certainly a strange motivational technique (unless it works)

1-0 over reading at home. Yet again we created enough chances to win 8 games. Sterling got his first PL and it was beautifully taken. Kid just keeps in growing, working a lot harder in defence now. Gerard looked good sitting a bit deeper and almost playin the Alonso role of a few years ago.

Rodgers really needs to work with the back 4, we look so panicked when side launch attacks at us. Enrique could almost be moved into the midfield, came on an looked dangerous as an attacker. Hopefully Rodgers has gotten past whatever it is he doesn't like about him and give him more game time.

Just happy a we finally won at home.

If you go by most reports in previous weeks, his knee was (and still is) fooked. I am another one of his admirers, but will admit that he had SHOCKERS the first couple of games this season. I would not mind seeing him on the left and Johnson on the right, every game.

As for why the club is doing the current series on FOX........could it maybe be that we are owned by a certain Fenway Sports group;-) It's, ahem, very..........'American'.

I am still not sure about the series and all this behind-the-scenes stuff. The point of the series is clearly to attract new "soccer" lovers across the pond, and it will probably achieve this.

Back to the games. Good to see Suso sign his contract.......I want to see him get a lot more involved though. His defense also needs a bit of work.

Yeah cheering we nailed suso down, definitly needs to back himself more I think. Both he and Raheem have really been working on getting the ball back over the last few games. Definite mark of improvement in shutting thinking time down in defence and general hustle off the ball.

Just on the season, Luis is sitting on 5 goals currently, I'd like to think that if we had another genuine threat either upfront of hovering around CAM he'd have a few more. The reading game just proves January can't come fast enough.

I'd also love to see both Enrique and johnno both on but I'm also really liking wisdom. Big and strong, decent pace and really is makin the most of the time he's getting.

Have Anzi in the EL at Anfield, no idea how it'll turn out. Know absolutely nothing bout the Ruski's other than Eto'o plays for them

Well, they sit top of the group and if I am not mistaken, sit top of the Russian league? Or at least they did last week.

Also, they held Udinese who stole all three points against us at Anfield. But that should hsve never happened. I see the likes of Henderson and Jonjo being put in for this one. I am interested to see who will be put up front, especially as Suarez appeared to pick up a knock against Reading and we need him 200% for this Sunday.

Otherwise, anybody else feel that Suso's future is down the middle of the park? Maybe in the 'hole'?

What is the actual rule with regards to the keeper having to have BOTH hands on the ball for you not to be able to play at it? Cheeky Agger:D

Hope we beat our little sister this weekend!

Everton FC - est 1878
Liverpool FC - est 1892

Plus when Liverpool were first created, they wanted to call themselves "Everton Athletic" before the FA blocked it (of course any LFC fan who knows their teams history would know that). Also you guys play on the ground we left behind.

If anyone is the "little sister", it's you guys.

We asked Torben from redshite.com website a few questions before Sunday's game. Here is Torban's answers

How do you think the redshite will do this season?

I don't like it when you call us redshite. I hope we don't get relegated.

How do you think Brendon Rodgers is doing?

I hope he gets it right, but I wish King Kenny was still there. If he had stayed we would have easily won the league this year. Kenny would have spent so much more money than Brendon. I love it when we spend so much money.

How do you think his signing are doing?

Not too sure. I wish Andy was still here. I have a pony tail just like him.

How long have you been supporting the redshite?

I wish you wouldn't keep calling us that word. I have been supporting Liverpool ever since my father told me about them when they won all of those trophies so long ago. I only wanted to support someone that was successful, so if they don't win the Premiership soon I will start to support Man City.

Why Man City?

Because they are the bigger team now and they have a bigger airport. The shops are better. I like airports.

Are you going to the game this week-end?

I don't know the City that well. I don't know where your ground is. I only fly to Liverpool when my team are at home. I've also been told it is a bit rough in that part of Liverpool.

How do you rate David Moyes?

I wished we would have asked him to replace Kenny. Did we ask him? If we had I'm sure he would have said yes.

Who is your favourite all time Everton player?

It's got to be Graeme Sharp. The goal he scored against us was the best ever goal scored at Anfield. I really like Sharpy.

What is your favourite biscuit with a cup of tea or coffee?

I don't eat biscuits, you can't get them where am from and I don't drink tea. I eat plenty of Danish pastries and coffee. There are many Danish eating Danishes.

What do you think the score will be?

I think you will win. If Everton do win would it be ok if I supported you for the rest of the season?

Tell your ma, your ma, to wipe away all your tears....

A 2-2 draw, Evertonians are stoked and Liverpool fans are underwhelmed. Tells you everything, really.

Knightie, it?s not the Redshite me ma hates, but their gobshite supporters. You know the ones from outside the city, jumped on the bandwagon in the 80?s, never had a pan of Scouse, know nothing about derby day but carry on like they do.

Actually, in my situation, me ma was a Redshite. We never could convert her

You would think that our "second-string" team would be able to perform a bit better.......at home. :sarcasm:
