Torres isn't scoring atm but he's certainly setting them up. (Depending on if you count winning penalties and free-kicks, that lead to goals, as assists) Torres has set up Liverpool's last four goals.

The first Liverpool goal was obviously BS. Turner was passing to the keeper for the free kick. However, it more than makes up for the "balloon" goal from last season.

You won't find many people that agree with you there. The ball was set up exactly where the foul took place, Turner f**ked up. It was a legal goal and Liverpool were perfectly entitled to do what they did.

In no way does a perfectly legal goal which is allowable in the rules make up for an illegal goal which the rules state cannot be allowed.

As soon as Roy bloody Hodgson was appointed I knew this season would be a write-off.

His appointment shows no ambition, merely a wish to "steady the ship". This is unacceptable for a club of Liverpool's stature. The sooner Gillette, Hicks and Hodgson f**k off the better.

With them there, I honestly can't even see us finishing in the top 10.

Goes to show why you don't sell a club to two people who quite clearly couldn't give a sh*t about it's past, present or future - other than to hope they can make some money out of it.

Disgraceful.

I disagree. And from what I've read so do most. Shouldn't have been awarded.

2-0 down at halftime. God Johnson's sh*te. Also why did the club sign Poulsen? he is useless, then again so is the manager and most of the team at the moment. Torres going off hasn't helped either.

2-1 loss to Blackpool and tbh it was totally deserved. Outplayed by Blackpool at home, a sign of how dire this team is. Now in the drop zone and worst start to a season for 50 years. How long do we give Hodgson?

Who could have predicted that at this stage of the season that fans would be pining for the days of Rafa Benitez

I dunno how much of this terrible start can be blamed on the off the field/owner issues and how much is due to Hodgson trying to find his feet at a new club.

He knew he did it straight away. Didnt seem overly serious as he was trying to stretch and run it off.

Cheers

Sad times. Torres just can't seem to stay fit these days. This will again set him back in his quest to regain his best form.

These are dark days indeed.

After today, I don't see us winning against anyone. We can't beat our way through a wet paper bag

Then you get taken over by the banks, go into Administration and get docked 10 points...

Torres injury is "I don't want to be here-itus". Its spreading around the squad. He caught it of Mascherano last summer. ;-)

You won't find me pining for Benitez. Not a chance. Benitez pushed out good players and signed inferior replacements. Mascherano, Benayoun and Riera may have left after Benitez, but he is the reason they wanted to leave the club.

He also forced out Xabi Alonso after he had an absolutely stellar season, and decided that Lucas f**king Leiva should be his replacement.

Benitez left the place in a shambles (Torres the glaring exception), however Hodgson is not the man to pick up the pieces and rebuild.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Liverpool will not finish in the top 10 unless Hodgson, Gillett and Hicks are all gone.

Whats worrying about all this at the moment is Gerrard is in fine form and we still cant take a trick.
The big Greek looks more chance of scoring than any of the strikers
But the defence is woeful. We have 1 midfielder and 1 striker(who is injured again).
Ive said iit before and I'll say it again.
You cant blame the new manager he's innherited this squad.
Its the 3rd or 4th year in a row where weve sold more than weve spent.
Simple maths tells you where we are headed.
Look at Man City. They are spending a heap and going up.
Chelsea did it.
The only exception to the rule is Arsenal.
