I can see where @Franklin is coming from. It's an attempt to keep conversation going. It may not be the best way to go about it, given the already posted example that knowing the player would also spark conversation, but this is working just as well. It's generated discussion, just not the same discussion that would've ensued if we were given a name.

Anyway, just my 2 cents...

And just to "keep on the topic of the thread" I've heard a RUMOUR that it's CONFIRMED we'll be SIGNING a players or players at some point between now and Rd 1 of 2020... ;)

On a serious note: I still like Alex Glenn as a signing. Better option than Yeo if we want a backrower/centre.

And the Broncos may let a few heads roll after their drubbing on Sunday. Probably just Boyd and McCullough who we shouldn't be signing but who knows.

It’s interesting how many big name wingers have suddenly hit the market, teams obviously decided the wing shouldn’t be where the money is.
Vunivalu, radradra, rapana, Oates, Holmes.
Oates would be a good buy for us.
On a less serious note : I think the mystery origin signing could be Jamie buhrer.

Always happens this time of year..

Funny how no one thinks of QLD origin players

Jack Bird on the nose at Brisbane - could be very handy.

Im also waiting on Josh Morris to be released by the Sharks so we can nab him as well :p

Was just about to post this.

Jack Bird got unlucky in 2020, I thought he looked decent earlier in the year.

We don't want him smashing hamburgers down here at Penrith. But at his best he is a very good player. Rate him as a centre or fullback, and can cover other position if needed.

Bird would be a mistake imo - An already lazy trainer with a severely cut down training regime, he'd weigh roughly the weight of a rouge African elephant before the kick off for Rd 1.

He'll never be small and fit enough to play fullback ever again

Bird & Vunivalu would really give our backline a nice look.

Edwards
Vunivalu
Bird
Chricton
To’o

better than spending the money on a back rower.
