This is a seriously good side with a really good mix of youth and experience….and incredibly good depth.

Both defence and attack were promising and you can see Benny wants to have a big year.

Very encouraging performance, we needed to improve our discipline and our defence and it looks like we've made great progress. Having the big guys up front makes so much difference and Suli is going to be awesome for us.

I thought Woods work rate was great and i reckon George will keep him honest.

I like the idea of Sloan and Ramsey switching roles for the start of the season so we can get a good look at both.

Unpopular opinion but Hunt is in the top 10 best players in the comp, him and Amone are dangerous runners. Ilias and Taafe looked really good too for the bunnies.

Woods has been solid.

Woods cops a lot criticism but he always makes contact metres. With this pack I hope we see the best of him this season.

Not unpopular with me. I thought he was last year when he wasn't injured.

I’m really excited for our depth this year as they all look like solid first grade players

One thing I noticed was a better defensive effort as we muscled up. I have had enough of teams simply marching down field making 50 plus metres each set and us having to start inside our 10 metres.

Best defence set was right at the end. Both sides were stuffed but we smashed them over and over trying to get our of their own line
