I don’t think you understand how clubs think lol
Ditto, old son the arlc don't want bids that aren't already running some sort of leagues club setup, its just what it is, as much as you think perth is favourable, it not going to be viable unless its an already established setup at the moment, (maybe later on 20th licence perhaps)

If the aim is 20 teams by 2032, Then you need areas in that produce players over Perth. Personally I think the time line is too short but good to have ambition

Im not sure about that OK
Melbourne is the capital of sports world wide
It needs an NRL game every weekend
Okay 🐻
As a current Melb resident I would love that but there's other priorities the game should put first

Is the bear emoji implying the bears link to melb? Would work better than Perth tbh, less hostile to "the east coast" and with a team already in melb would be more feasible to send a game or 2 to NSO, could pump up the Werribee bears and be the Western + Geelong team, with the Storm currently based in Richmond and claiming the east

So a 20 club comp is going to be another brisbane and 2 Sydney clubs lol?
nrl clubs no longer need pokies to be viable, especially in a major city like perth. We can leave the social misery behind thankfully and look to a bright new future for rl no longer reliant on unethical income.
