    Well said. The Eels, and Hayne in particular, can hold there heads high. They were like a breath of fresh air in their charge to the Grand Final and they were beaten by the best drilled team in the NRL.

    Pearce is 20 years old and has played Origin and Semi-Final footy. Soward is 25 and is playing brilliant football in a well drilled team. Let's see how Jamie handles himself when he plays in a game that's a notch up from the week in week out of the NRL.

    Very good point. Then perhaps they'd have the 15 to 20 million dollars needed to run advetising on TV every week of the season.

    You can bag Paul Kind all you like but the NRL have bugger all money to spend making TV commercials let alone run them. In the glory days of Simply The Best Rothmans were throwing tens of millions of dollars at the NSWRL/ARL. Another point for you haters is that the same agency that produced...
