As expected. Nothing from a Nobody.

Get players to place the ball, and roll

Here's a sample for you: 1990 Ashes 2nd Test 1986 NSWRL Grand Final 1981 State of Origin 1984 First Ashes Test 1990 NSWRL Grand Final If you call that a shitfest, I'd be happy for the game to be one.

Nah, just need them to enforce the ones we already have.

Get players to place the ball, and roll

It's tradition isn't it? What will be the thing they crack down on a week out from the finals?

Get players to place the ball, and roll

Just as I thought. Ask for some evidence, get a load of rubbish and emotions.

Get players to place the ball, and roll

I was addressing the ruck and play the ball and you avoided my question. Put up some examples of these diabolical games please.

Get players to place the ball, and roll

Go watch some games when it was legal and tell me they ruck and play the ball was any worse than it is now. It was a skill and something that could be used to great effect during a match.

Let the marker strike as soon as the ball is on the ground.

    West Coast Pirates Bid News

There couldn't be a better time for the NRL to move to Perth now could it. Imagine whoever owns NIB stadium will be keen for full time tenant during Winter.

    Grand Final Entertainment

That's a bit harsh. On the 95 year old.

    2017 Crowd Watch

It's ridiculous the amount of time between these matches. I would also like to know why they teams need to now warm up on the ground before the match? Is there no other field or area they can do this?

    2017 Crowd Watch

This would be a great idea. The only issue is what point in the past were the games played at the more fan friendly times? I would think the early to mid 90's?

    ^^ Yep.

    Blocking the Chasers

As long as the defenders are moving in a straight line towards where the ball is going, I don't have a problem with them ending up standing in front of the catcher. It's when they change line, and don't have eyes for the ball, rather the chasers, and interfere with them contesting the ball.

    Broncos Rant

Winners can do what they like. Should be more of it. Makes the next game extra spicy.

    2017 R22 Sat - Knights 26-10 Warriors @ McDonald Jones

Yes. I have no problem with tripping being a send off though. Potential to do a lower leg injury is a good enough reason for me.

    2017 R22 Sat - Knights 26-10 Warriors @ McDonald Jones

Tripping has always been a send off offence, that's why you never used to see it. Then for some reason (i.e. Archer) Josh Reynolds started sticking the leg out and was only put on report. Now every Merkin knows they can get away with it.
