    18th club, whose next?

For Fordham, making the most of this momentum looks like bringing more games to the region – and potentially another team. Fordham: “We’re really committed to working with the NRL in growing the competition, and Queensland is a big part of that. We think there’s room for another team here in...

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

If last nights game was played at the Brand spanking new SFS last night the crowd would’ve easily been above 20k, and looked so much better on tele. It’s so stupid we’re still playing regular season games at Homebush. Hopefully South’s can get a new deal signed to move back there.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

New Penrith stadium at paceway will be scrapped within the next couple of weeks, that’s a dead certainty. The NRL will no doubt confront and attempt to get Labor to invest in a new stadium policy, to no prevail I think. It’s hard seeing Labor investing anything stadium wise in the next four...

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Rain rain in Sydney go away Only hit Melbourne on an AFL day. If the rain pumps Sydney it could look real bad for the Eels/Pan & Sou/Man games, Both games deserve huge crowds. If it miraculously hangs off, add another 5k to both games. My Crowd Predictions as follows: Eels v Panthers 14k...

    18th club, whose next?

A western Victorian team based in Geelong probably isn’t the worst idea. A west vs east rivalry with the storms. Would need a rectangular stadium built though.

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Great crowds so far this weekend. 15k-30k crowds tomorrow for the QLD games. Sold out Belmore and a 20k plus in the capital on Sunday. We might end up with 4 games above 20k. Terrific results

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Homebush is terrible. When the Tigers host the Easter Monday clash it should be at SFS and so should the Dogs/South’s Good Friday game.

    West Coast Pirates Bid News

I confused Guardian for SMH there, my bad. The Article though is a lot more keen on Perth over PNG/Pasifika.

    West Coast Pirates Bid News

https://t.co/kiCE0fUiNM Going by this articleNine don’t want a png or pasifika side, and don’t want to pay for 20 teams. But, They think it’s a no brainer for an 18th team and seem dead keen on it being located in perth, with or without the bears.

    WA BEARS

Nah. I’ve been there when it was half full and still great atmosphere. Needs abit of work to it, but still probably better then half the NSW NRL stadiums.

    WA BEARS

In all seriousness Perth definitely deserve their own team. If the NRL do expand to 20 teams, it seems a no brainer. They tick most of the boxes. - 4th biggest Aus city - right size stadium for regular games & a big oval for the odd big game - 3rd biggest state league comp - good time slot for...

    PNG's back.

I think we’re passed the days of wider spread geographically names like North Queensland, Northern etc. it’ll be about the Mascot name, hell there’s even the possibility we might get The Bears playing out of Perth. Y’all know this V’Landys Ball 17th The Dolphins - Brisbane/Redcliffe 18th The...

    18th club, whose next?

I don’t know about a combined PNG/PI team, all seems abit silly. The Hunters based in Cairns has some merit. If the Government coughed up for a new 15k-20k stadium in cairns it would be great for the region and League in general. 50/50 split home games between Cairns & Port Moresby. The...
