    Payne Haas is apparently a Newcastle Junior whose family moved to Queensland in his early teens .similar to TPJ whose family moved to Canberra after Harold Matts. Imagine if they hung around then we wouldn't need to have thrown huge dollars at them.

    Whilst that was an exaggeration i dont imagine he would have received a huge upgrade. He was a starting prop for a lot of the year and I saw some stats where I am pretty sure he was in the bottom 5 forwards for metres per game in the NRL.

    You would have to think that unless Wayne Bennett backflips on his rule of not paying front rowers decent money that TPJ will leave Brisbane. If he does backflip and pay him $400k plus then he will have some angry other props on $100k

    2 recent ones Eloni Vunakece made his debut early in the 2016 season whch was just shy of his 29th birthday Nathan Ross i believe would have been 26 (close to turning 27) when he made his debut late in 2015

    Thanks Interesting to see what the profit ends up. Hopefully at least the high ticket prices will result in a profit closer to $10m than $7m I guess if that's the case then the organisers will have been justified in charging higher prices
